I restarted the game but did not upload to the list ...
I really want to play.
If I unsuscribe the Art Assets and put the civ5mod file (with almost 100 MB) into the MODS file and start the game, the Art Assets never show up in the Mod collection and the faerun mod cannot be enabled.
Yep, I'm working back through the mods to bring them into line with v.5. It will be a while for the GnK version...
However, I noticed that flame riders were "invisible" (no unit graphics) and didn't breathe fire, and the spell "fireball" had no fire animation. Please do them. I know you can, even by using graphics for flame riders from other units in the mod and altering them slightly, and by using animations from the orginal game in the case of fire breathing and the fireball spell.
i suscripted This MOD!!!!!!!
PS worked fine except for some problems with magic spells before update.
I've subscribed to Faerun GnK and to the art pack. They both appear in my mod list. However, Civ5 tells me both of them require BNW, which I don't have, and won't let me load either, regardless of the order in which I try to activate them.
Based on your comment, I think you are experiencing a very old and very well-documented problem with STEAM. You need to delete your civ5 game cache to reset your downloads, which will most likely allow this mod to download and unpack in your MODS folder. See above under "Troubleshooting..."
You can also manually unpack the downloads from this site or the alternate site (i.e. bypass the Steam problem) by changing the extension on the files from .civ5mod to .zip and then unzipping them into the MODS folder.
Either that or I shouldnt question you since you know more about modding than me. Fix it please, I dont want to punch my computer.
