This mod idea is incredible but unfortunately it is not working in the latest update when you put the chest, it gives an error when I try to access it

last update broke this, and now i dont want to load one of my worlds because i dont want the contents of my chest to disappear... please update

For the record... You don't need to compress the world directory again. You can use it as a folder that the game will load normally.

take that back, i managed to save my game,

managed to use winrar to get into the zip file and delete it from there

seems i just messed my world up and deleted everything =/
when i found the location there were all in zip files, so i unzipped a backup copy of the save i made,

unrar'ed it found the private chest folder, deleted it, re-zipped the folder, booted the game up,
no worlds no character was there :'(

well... that sucked =/

In the "%APPDATA%\Necesse\saves\worlds\" directory there will be a folder with the name of your world.
Open the directory and edit the file "privatechest.dat" with the game closed, removing your Steam ID from the array.

Example:

If my Steam ID is "11111111111111111", and the contents of the file are

PrivateChest = {
Owners = [11111111111111111, 222222222222222222]
}

After editing the file, it would look like this:

PrivateChest = {
Owners = [222222222222222222]
}

If it is a local save where only you play, you can simply delete the file.

is there a way to force delete the chest ? or have it completely turn off/ disable

at some point i placed a private chest ..............some where......
im presuming i forgot about it at some point ,,,, now i cant find it,,, and when i try to place one it automatically ...."de-places".... from the island and tells me ive already got one

ive tried turning the mod off, booting the game up loading into my save, exiting, readding the mod and trying again, to which i have no joy
