I'm still seeing the same error message when loading only "Give Me Water". I figured I'd try generating a world with "Portable Mode" set to on and off in the Game Settings and no dice on that front, either. I'm assuming the game's generating world just fine for you?

Actually, I just tested this without DFHack and with only Give Me Water and I still get the error.

It appears that the newest DF hotfix update v52.02 fixed an issue that sounds very similar to the error that I reported. Here is said fix: "Fixed a logic issue where any duplicated raws detected will cause further types of duplicated raws to no longer print". So, when DF Hack updates I'll be able to test and see whether or not that actually fixed that error.

Hello... I receive the error "Duplicate Object: entity EVIL. Further duplicates will be printed to errorlog; worldgen will abort" when this mod is included in a new world. However, the error goes away when this mod is removed from the list. I receive a similar error when using the "FB's Revised Domestics" mod, except instead of entity EVIL, I see "material_template WOOL_TEMPLATE". Could 50.12 had changed the syntax that your mod and the other mod use and that's why they are throwing the errors? I changed the lines for PLAINS and EVIL in the "entity_niemst_more_bricks.txt" file from "ENTITY:PLAINS" to "SELECT_ENTITY:PLAINS" (did the same for "EVIL") and the world proceeds to generate. I don't know if changing these lines actually fixed the issue or what... Anywho, thank you for your time!

So I'm melting Ice into barrels in the still using Ice Boulders, but i'm only getting barrels of ice lol

Thank you. This has always bothered me. We have all these complex industries, but we cannot take a water storing cactus and put it in a simple wooden press?

@Lemran I was able to make them fill pond. I had one task to produce the big amount of water eg form fruits to barrel and 2nd to fill buckets form barrel. Some dwarf did took the buckets but:
1. The workshop for filling buckets was very close to pond
2 Some of buckets dried out before being grab - so I needed stack few pond designated zones so few dwarf would take that task.
The displaying object are ignored for usage for work. Please try the short distance and stacking many ponds zones. Tell me if that worked.
BTW I had similar topic for the hospital where fill bucket form barrel needed to be almost in hospital to dwarfs use it to give a drink for immobilized ones.

I was hoping to use buckets of water to fill the pond (and make a fountain in the feature), but unfortunately it seems to be impossible. To fill the pond, dwarves need a water source, not filled buckets.

Do you know a workaround or maybe you can create one?
By the way, adding such a feature will make your mega-extra-super better

P.S. I tried dismantling the podiums with water on the display, it does not help

I checked the Seasonish Crops mod and don't see any out-of-date values there. That said it uses the CUT feature, so it might not be compatible with other mods. But there is no much more to be changed there (assuming I don't miss anything)

Could you point me to that mod? (id or url?)

I do plan adding much more complexity into the general production flows:
- requiring tools (hammer, blacksmith tongs, glass blow mold, potter's wheel, etc)
- sub-steps (melted iron, liquid glass, etc)
- more ingredients (like wood for a spear)
but unfortunately this kind of changes would be hard to make compatible with any other mod so it is not in top of my list. That said I will remember about brewery (depending what can be supported by modding system, even if not time maybe more steps depending on final alcohol)

I’d like to respectfully share some mod ideas regarding survival challenges and balancing for the dwarves, hoping they might inspire you. For example, would it be possible to make the brewery function similar to farming, requiring some time for fermentation, as brewing does take time?

Also, I have some thoughts on crop yield. There’s an older mod on the Steam Workshop that adjusts crop yields, but it’s a bit outdated for the current version. Would you consider making your own version to adjust crop yields?

Melting Ice doesn't work. Probably because it looks for "ice blocks" which don't exist. Ice is under the Stones category.

It is as if a mod to make stone beds asked for rock blocks instead of rock, which would make you need to make rock blocks at a workshop first.

This is really a dwarf fortress mod that must become part of the main game. But i feel it takes away a bit of the winter and desert biome that pushes you to dig and seek water from cavern and pushes to engineer solution to get water flow inside the fortress. All in all, i wish the book writting system would unlock this kind of features giving dwarves more knowledges when building fort in the middle of nowhere. But unfortunately, this isn't a thing for now.

Yes they are under:
Furniture/siege ammo - Type - Barrels, buckets
keep in mind to also select the materials and quality

What more it is likely u would like to link the workshop (Still, press) that garters the water with stockpile of hospital as out and with other stockpiles as in.
Please keep in mind that dwarf unlikely will take water to give to somebody from barrel. They need it is a bucket. So likely you may need to also have a work order to fill bucket from barrel and put the filled bucket into stock

quick question, where do barrels/buckets go under stockpiles? i wanted a water only stockpile in my hospital and can't seem to find them to assign them to that stockpile
