@C.K. Glad you like it! It was over due, but I had to learn a couple things before implementing it, such as Harmony.

Modding has eaten up so much of my free time I haven’t done a RW run myself in ages to the point that I don’t think I’ve played with most of my own mods. It’s been at least half a year if not a full year. I’m probably going to take a short break for a month from modding to actually familiarise myself with the game I’m making mods for soon lol

Eyy, noice, thank you for solving problems of definitely-not-cyberpsychos. Sadly I dont have time to do another campaign currently, cause uni exists, but my next doc (who is probably going to be deranged again) is definitely going to have a field day with this thing sometime in the future.

@themoistestwhale Oh, that's great. Thank you for your kindness, but I'm very sorry. In my area, there's no good connection to Discord servers, so I can't easily access your updates. However, I believe that if any text changes are needed, Chinese translation users will inform me promptly.

@二次元地雷亚比 Thanks for translating! I offer changelogs to help keep translations up to date on my Discord if you'd like, just ping me that you're a translator there. I will put some links to all the new translations I've noticed in the mod description here later.

I don't have much time on my hands to make much more GiTS content and what time I do have I often spend learning to make better content, but I will probably look to making some mini-mods with content from GiTS at least for now.

@chainlinc3 Psymechs are a combination of a doctor and a cyborg engineer from Ghost in the Shell , so just a lore thing.

Separately while I don’t really like Rimworld’s current lore primer and only really subscribe to the original one before the DLCs, I don’t think I’m either a mech could do any psychic tomfoolery. It’d feel weird to make that a thing, though I wouldn’t be surprised if another modder already has.

@Trapus This mod is, yes. There shouldn't be any conflicts with any bionics mods- this is just a furniture mod really.

Until I do, I’ll just paraphrase from the description here and see if it helps clarify what it is for you:

The anchor is essentially a hospital bed that requires power and an additional short research project. It’s different in that in leans into heavy bonuses for surgery/operation speed and success chances, and loses comfort and some tending bonuses for that. It can be linked with up to 2 anchor consoles to provide stronger bonuses in the same way a vanilla hospital bed links with vitals monitors. The workbench without Cyberbrains installed is just a special workbench for bionics, and with it for making Cyberbrains and related components.

Please excuse me but could you add some screenshots of what this is? I'm an idiot and there's probably more of me, "build a cyberbody anchor, along with accompanying consoles, to install cybernetics" sounds interesting but no idea what any of it means - screenshot would be awesome.

@Choosechee ...and if it doesn't you can always adjust the values as they're exposed to XML! The only reason the anchor has a custom building class in this mod is just to render the top graphic right now.

Best of luck with the solo mechanitor run, the concept of it always kinda felt like a dice roll half the time especially when using vanilla combat but I should get around to doing one myself sometime.

Yeah, that's perfectly understandable. I like to make colonies where it's not purely just as functional as possible and make some stuff purposely not the optimal way because it looks better (speaking of medical things, I'm looking at you, vitals monitor, being able to connect with 4 hospital beds). I want to do a solo mechanitor playthrough at some point, and I want to focus more on the base since I don't have to make bedrooms for a bunch of people, so I would definitely get this mod for that. I was just also wondering if it would help prevent the possibility that my one colonist would just die from a surgery. But as I said, it would probably help with it anyway, so...

@Choosechee I'm pretty sure it does allow it to just break that with consoles added and the operation speed bonus is quite nice when doing a large chain of surgeries. Yeah it's kinda niche and for late-game colonies, but anyways honestly half of the purpose of this mod is just the graphics for people who try to build pretty bases like me over functionality :I

I'm currently redoing the mod thumbnail because I find it super ugly lol, but then I'll look at adding that detail in the description. Thanks for the suggestion, especially because that is a perspective I forget to look at as it's not within my playstyle (not that I've played Rimworld in like, 6 months now).

Does this mod allow you to get past the max of 98% surgery success chance? I'm not sure how useful cyberbody anchors would be if they can't. It's not super hard to get to the max surgery success chance, but I guess the anchor could be useful for mechanitor colonies which require using a paramedic for surgeries, or to let you use herbal medicine for surgeries without risk. But it should be something to mention whether it does let you get past the max or doesn't.
