Ruby Circlet has been reworked. It now has:

You deal 40% more damage.
When you take damage, permanently deal 10% less damage.

@Atacolyptica Agree with you on the Ruby Circlet. It's on the "needs a rework" list. For now I just wanted it to be more usable so it got a band-aid buff.

@Komari_Spaghetti so I definitley was too hard on first inspection but I'm still not so sure about things.
The base gem set is all about not taking damage, by either assisting you in not taking damage, or giving you powerful bonuses for doing so.

currently:

garnet staff goes from situational but still great option for most characters to more situational and significantly less interesting and impactful.

Violin goes from a pretty decent team buff item to a much more powerful and much less consistent option. I don't mind this that much anymore.

lastly the ruby circlet, I get changing it to be more generally applicable but it was already a great item on basically every class in the game and was 100% worth its super high risk. I feel the transfigure is trying to do too much

100% the changes now are far more reasonable and I do want to apologize for being just downright rude to begin with.

@Atacolyptica I'm not sure what exactly you're referring to here. Could you be a little more specific in what is "just terrible"

@Yuu Yea, I made some items that boosts defensive damage because of a few niche defensive builds I've had in the past (Spellblade and Assasin can pull this off). I've change these items to be more generally useful while still keeping the defensive damage boost for the niche builds.

Your Defensive deals 120% more damage. Breaks if you take damage once.

did you know that out of 10 characters, only 1 can deal damage directly with defensive, and that is the spellsword rabbit, dealing 50 damage with it, or 100 with darkspell, so thats an up to 220 damage in the best scenario, which you instantly lose upon taking damage lmao

90% of these item reworks make no sense :o
