No, B41 should still work fine as far as I know.
The crash is caused by a change to smithing recipes in B42

Skill synergy is really good now. It's certainly possible to make more things and have more craftables.

I wasn't able to find any other mods that provide this far-future theme to firearms and not rely on factory manufactured models. I applaud you. I hope you will have the interest and time to fix and expand on this great mod.

Please consider creating crafted munitions that could be operable with these to accommodate a far future scenario. This would open an avenue for 'gunsmiths' of the world after the collapse.
Also, you could make weapons that rely on PSI to launch cold projectiles and produce much quieter range results, such as ones that operate on the newly added oxygen tanks or even the propane tanks?

Saw blade launcher, rebar shooter, and a tuned up metallic BB gun variation are all sound proposals on my end.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Love the idea of additional weapons being added. I personally still think the levels required to make these weapons should be lowered slightly if they're meant to be worse than conventional firearms, but the sheer novelty of having an instrument being turned into a gun still entices me to use them.

It looks as though the 42.8 update broke your mod. It crashes on startup while this mod is enabled and nothing else. It is likely related to the fact that various materials for smithing were removed.

random thing i noticed I'm messing with bandit creator and every time i equipped a bandit with theses 4 weapons they were not given the ammo option the ramshackleweapons.pipeDB ramshackleweapons.piperifle ramshackleweapons.slamfire ramshackleweapons.trumpetshotgun but all of your other weapons did get that option do you think it is your mod or the bandit creator mod?

For build 42, the revolvers and pistol recipe are only visible when interacting with a smithing forge

Also I'm not sure it's just me, but I seem to only be seeing the recipes for the Slamfire Rifle, Double Pipe Rifle, and the Pipe Rifle. How does one make the other weapons?

I really love the idea of this mod, but I'm rather concerned about the practicality of it. Even with extremely rare loot for weapons, I tend to find weapons far sooner than the time it takes to get the necessary maintenance level needed to craft these. I think a slight reduction in level might be ideal, imo.

So I went ahead and checked.
Build 42 has an issue I'll be addressing shortly, however I see no issue with the build 41 recipes.
The recipes still show in 42, but require the recipe to be learnt (which is not currently possible)

The entirety of this mod is set up to be for B42. The entire melee weapons section is missing, and will be included in that. The issue is, I don't really have a desk yet to work on. Mostly I'm on Steam because I'm setting up youtube to watch with my wife lol.

In due time, folks. There should be custom animations as well, since I've done that with the musket mod.
