ah okay. thanks for explaining!
GunKing  [author] 28 May @ 2:01pm
@Khazukan Kazakit-ha!
It's outdated but it will still work. Visual mods will generally work even while being outdated as they're just texture changes, not really altering essential data tables that mess with the game's function.
Khazukan Kazakit-ha! 28 May @ 12:19am
@GunKing
you mean that reskin from yogo pogo?
is that one not outdated?
wasn't that reskin last updated almost 3 years ago?
does it still work for you?
GunKing  [author] 27 May @ 8:55pm
@Khazukan Kazakit-ha!
I'm a little too busy for that these days, but I do use the the Festus reskin that gives him more muted/darker colors, I think he looks more fitting that way.
Khazukan Kazakit-ha! 26 May @ 9:04pm
can you do a reskin for festus the chinlord?
he looks like a cartoon character, for me atleast.

@GunKing

No worries whatsoever, thanks for being so detailed on it. I will certainly give it a shot as I do have some experience with it. Might also give making a custom card a crack and seeing if I can't hard overwrite the current one and plug that into it, but my artistic skills are wanting in all truth, so we shall see haha. Thanks again!
GunKing  [author] 7 May @ 1:30pm
@COOKI3

Yeah that's an oversight on my end. I can't readily fix it because the Tabletop Blood Knights mod uses the same file names as the vanilla ones and at this point a good amount of people expect the mod to do what it does, so I'm reticent to remove them. Ideally the creator of that mod could change those file names but I haven't reached out to him for that yet, not sure how responsive he is. But yeah if you're familiar with RPFM, just load the mod's packfile in that and delete the Blood Knight related files from that compatibility mod and you'll be good
COOKI3 7 May @ 11:41am
@GunKing

Ahh damn, well fair enough, though it is a shame. Well thanks to both of you for your hard work anyway! Really is great stuff. Maybe one day it will be easier to make it happen with new tools, but I think that might be like waiting for rain in a desert!

I did also want to ask regarding the Tabletop Blood Knights in your sub-mod. I know the description says that the 'required mods' in that pack are not actually required, but when I drop "Tabletop Blood Knights" my Blood Dragon lord's head disappears haha, unsure about the cav unit itself but I can check if you'd like. Main issue for me is the model and the unit card look completely different hence my attempt to drop it. Is that something I have somehow broken on my end?

Thanks!
GunKing  [author] 7 May @ 11:01am
@COOKI3
Thanks! Unfortunately that's one of those 'comes with the territory' type things, it is technically possible to update the unit card, I've done similar work in the past on my own mods, but it involves changing a bunch of data tables on Schlossy's end as well as utilizing a 3rd party program for custom portraits, and I didn't want to ask that of him, especially when he was generous enough to rename certain things in his mod so we could get the Isabella model compatibility with this one.
COOKI3 7 May @ 6:52am
@GunKing Great mod, been using it for ages! I have just seen that you have included the Schlossy's Isabella reskin, that is music to my ears as I have been using both but just lived with her being a bit out of place. Just did some testing and it seems like there is not yet a custom unit card for Schlossy's model? So it is being overwritten by the usual one within this mod, Do you have any plans to implement a red eyed variant of Schlossy's card in future? Thanks very much!
Barnacle Boy 6 Apr @ 10:08pm
Fair enough, thank you for your answer :)
GunKing  [author] 3 Apr @ 9:58pm
@Barnacle Boy
In the sense that if you load this on top of CoU, it will not crash. Some vampires untouched by that mod will probably have this mod's appearance. But none of the vampire units unique to that mod will have this mod's vamp appearance, practically speaking there's just too many vampire units for me to give them this mod's treatment.
Barnacle Boy 3 Apr @ 9:50pm
Is this compatible with Champions Of Undeath: Conquest Of The Blood Dragons?
GunKing  [author] 25 Mar @ 12:48pm
-Updated for 6.1

Added compatibility for Schlossy's Isabella reskin. Check out preview wheel for sample image.
GunKing  [author] 7 Mar @ 4:09pm
@Ītzpāpalōtl
Probably just you. Looks fine for me.
Ītzpāpālōtl 7 Mar @ 12:33pm
vargheists have a semi transparent grid pattern look to them not sure if this is just something happening to me
GunKing  [author] 12 Feb @ 10:46am
@Grim Gatsby
Sure, I'll give it a look. No promises but I think I can probably get that to work if the model doesn't have anything funky behind the scenes and the file names are suitable.
Grim Gatsby 12 Feb @ 9:27am
Hello once again. Could we get some mod support for
Schlossy's Isabella von Carstein

Appreciate your continued work on this great mod and submod!
Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!! 31 Jan @ 8:54pm
Well this modders work sure looks like other-wordly, don't sweat it
GunKing  [author] 31 Jan @ 8:43pm
@Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!!
I spoke too soon. I tried to make it compatible but my tools aren't working. That Isabella has a very custom model, which means I have to load it into the newest version of AssetEditor. The newest version of AE is quite frankly a pain to use, makes no sense to me and I find basic functions missing, therefore I can't readily make that Isabella compatible.

I won't say never, but I don't anticipate a compatibility update any time soon.
Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!! 31 Jan @ 2:28pm
Bless you
GunKing  [author] 31 Jan @ 10:25am
@Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!!
Yes I will aim to do so! Very cool looking mod. It will either be added to this mod or the compatibility sub-mod, I'll have to take a look at how things were constructed behind the scenes.
Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!! 31 Jan @ 10:20am
Can ya make compatibility with the best isabella mod? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2998314759
GunKing  [author] 12 Dec, 2024 @ 7:14pm
-Updated for 6.0
Added compatibility for Masked Mustachio's Mannfred, Captain Drekla from Mixu's Legendary Lords, Mundvard & Alicia from SCM Marienburg, Lahmian Handmaidens from Extended Roster – Vampire Counts

-Updated Depth Guard to have glowing red eyes

Drekla I haven't actually tested because at the time I added him Mixu's LL was broken, hopefully he displays the way he should whenever its fixed.

Added a few pics to the preview wheel showing the new additions.
AwDiddums 29 Nov, 2024 @ 5:16am
Thanks! That's great, much appreciated.
GunKing  [author] 28 Nov, 2024 @ 11:45pm
@AwDiddums
It is done. It'll be updated when the new DLC comes out. Just make sure that mod loads below this one. I just overwrote their heads with normal Vampire lady textures. Due to certain issues it was not worth the effort/time to import the Extended Roster Lahmian textures, in the future I may make rework them further so they're more like their appearance in that mod.
AwDiddums 28 Nov, 2024 @ 5:44pm
Is there any chance to add compatibility for the Extended Roster - Vampire Counts? It seems to corrupt the head/skin textures of the Lahmian Handmaidens. Thanks!
GunKing  [author] 12 Nov, 2024 @ 12:46pm
@murphypendleton

Yes, they will have red eyes. Up until your comment I never took a REALLY good look at their model, all this time I thought they had little flaming orbs of undead magic for eyes like Grave Guard, but no they have actual eyes just glowing out underneath the helmet!

When the DLC is released, this mod will be updated accordingly, especially in regard to the Depth Guard. Wonderful catch!
murphypendleton 12 Nov, 2024 @ 1:25am
Thank you for your response! That is an understandable limitation.

Are there plans to also give red eyes to the Depth Guard units?
GunKing  [author] 5 Nov, 2024 @ 9:10am
@murphypendleton
Thank you. I'll try but probably not. I've run into similar problems with the Handsome Vlad mod. The primary problem with making them compatible is that their modded character models share the same name as the modded Vlad in this mod, so I run into the issue of one overwriting the other, even if I put it into my compatibility sub-mod!

The easiest solution is if the other Vlad authors rename their Vlad models within their mods. But I'll try some other complicated work arounds at the same time.
murphypendleton 5 Nov, 2024 @ 1:15am
Wonderful mod! Arguably the best Vampire reskin. Would it be possible to make it compatible with the Vlad Von Carstein Restored mod?
GunKing  [author] 2 Nov, 2024 @ 9:09pm
@monky
Man that was such a great DLC, thank you for bringing up good memories!

This mod has been updated again, now compatible with Hooveric's vampire reskin. Just make sure this mod is loading above it.

Mod will be updated again probably when next DLC comes out.
monky 2 Nov, 2024 @ 10:21am
reminds me of the TES Dawnguard vampires, very cool looking.
GunKing  [author] 2 Nov, 2024 @ 9:27am
Very welcome guys!
Lingling 2 Nov, 2024 @ 4:56am
Awesome thanks for the update
RatboyW 1 Nov, 2024 @ 10:45pm

GunKing  [author] 1 Nov, 2024 @ 6:19pm
@Sumich
You're wrong.

Updated for 5.3

Added compatibility for Neferata from Legions of Nagash. I hope to add Genevieve later.

@RagnaroK
Thanks man!

@The epilepticizing gyre
Veritably it can be said it would be of a dead but not decayed hue.

@The wiz 278
They are similar!
The wiz 278 29 Oct, 2024 @ 11:21am
this mod reminds me of red eyed skaven mod:steamthumbsup:
The Epilepticizing Gyre 29 Oct, 2024 @ 8:17am
After having clarified the vampire counts and coasts optic coloration and cutaneous pigmentation, the question arises as to what tint is to be expected their cunts have been dyed with?
RagnaroK 29 Oct, 2024 @ 6:36am
Anything with a 'GunKing' tag goes into the collection, thanks for yet another flavourful mod adding to that grimdark Warhammer feel. :darkangel:
GunKing  [author] 29 Oct, 2024 @ 6:07am
@opgplay236
Looks like it would, yes.
RatboyW 28 Oct, 2024 @ 9:14pm
For anyone wanting this to work alongside Hooveric's Reskin, it's pretty easy:

Open HV Reskin with RPFM
Click View and toggle the Global Search Window on
In the Global Search on the right, select Packfile as the search source

Now, search for
isabella
vampire_female
lahmian_lord

With each search, delete any rows that mention them in
db/agent_uniforms_tables/_hv_vmp
db/variants_tables/_hv_vmp
db/unit_variants_tables/_hv_vmp

You don't have to delete the other search results, like their models and textures, as now you've removed the tables entries that are changing where the game is looking for these lords/heroes appearance (which is why changing the load order doesn't help).

Alternatively, if you don't wanna do that, just disable HV for now
GunKing  [author] 28 Oct, 2024 @ 2:01pm
@Prof. Dr.
Yo man, thank you!
For the BVL mod, make sure this mod is loading above it. And it will work. I'm not so certain if you have this mod AND Beautiful Female Vampires AND Hooveric enabled that it will work, but this and Beautiful Female Vampires certainly will if the load order is correct.

I would recommend turning off Hooveric. Or see what happens if you load this on top of Hooveric.
Prof. Dr. 28 Oct, 2024 @ 1:55pm
Hey GunKing!
Great job with this mod, I really like it. Itmakes the vampires and and their servants that more menacing.
I have a problem with this mod. The Vampire Ladies get bugged head textures. I also use the beautiful Vampire Ladies mod and Hooveric's reskin. I tried using only this Mod and the BVL-mod, I tried using Hooveric and this mod, only once I did not use this mod did the bug disappear. Do you have anysuggestions on how to make it work?
