It does, however only when you complete a run, as it alters Memories that are somewhat of a award for you after you beat a boss. You can check out my other mods if you wish to make it "easier" right away. For example Impactful Trinkets. Enjoy!
I do not think you would be able to do it with the (official) tools available to us now. I am pretty sure your saves in C:\Users\"User"\AppData\LocalLow\RedHook\Darkest Dungeon II\SaveFiles hold this information, meaning you can edit/backup them, but script that wipes certain information upon death - no idea where that is. Meaning that I cannot help you with this one. Sorry.
That said I made close to no research on this topic, as it is not something I would want in my game. I may look into it in my (close to non-existent) spare time.
Thank you! That was exactly the point. Enjoy
Hi and ... What the hell? Where did my picture go?! - fixed, thank you
Yes it will! You have the play the modded version and enable the mod in the game as well. Subscribing just downloads the files. Enjoy!
Thank you! I do not plan to do a Lite version but I might. If I see more requests I will consider it. For now I hope you can enjoy the mod as is!
Yeay! I am glad you enjoy the mod and share the same feeling about vanilla memories.
Thanks for this and all the feedback on my other mods. It means a lot to be. Have fun!
Vanilla memories feel so underwhelming considering all the effort you have to go through to get them, having the buffs you get from surviving being this powerful is a great reward for all the work I put in getting them.
I've been running this mod for a good while now and that's not changing any time soon. Thanks muchly for the great work.
Thank you! I am glad.
@Demora
If you provide more specific feedback on which seem too strong I may change them. But it seems you do not mean it in a bad way. If that is the case enjoy and thanks!
Of course, I agree this mod being too strong for base game. While I do not really plan on making difficulty mods myself - we will see in the future. I also cannot wait for the new expansion and introduction to Kingdoms. That should shake up the gameplay.
You are welcome, doubtful Slippers. After hours in the game, I found fun in the breakage. I think.
(Thank you. I hope you will like it without the doubt someday)
Thanks!
Back at it again I see.
@☀ Anisol
Thanks for that! Enjoy
@Aria Kawa
With "Though choice" I actually agree and I will be toning it down a bit. I was on a fence with it already. Spring Rain seems fine to me, altough it is strong. One could say it is Impactful.
@pdavis
I felt like there is not many sources of this buff. I am glad that you like it. Enjoy!
Thanks. Im trying.
@Shark
Not sure what do you mean with the favorite toy. I kept it original.
Nerf to Warm Fire and the rest is a fair opinion. That said I feel when compared to the favorite toy, it is balanced as is. You have much less flexibility for direct focus in one type of dot. Also the randomness of getting the correct dot variation for specific heroes is a factor.
Also duration < additional dot
@Tobii
That is interesting reasoning. I would like to hear more to understand you. You feel having better permanent effects on heroes makes them more scary to use due to potential loss? I have not felt that while playing at all, but it does feel bad to lose hero with 5 memories. There is even achievement for it
