yeah, I had suggestions about a PhD equivalent. next year I plan on updating the mod adding all kinds of new stuff.

When I first started playing with the mod, I thought the blank candy was an odd item. Like, the effect is always random, what's the point. Funny thing is that I ended up with the same thought, which is realised:
Each candy has its own range of effects, each sparks its own unique mobs. Can you add for External Item Descriptions to show exactly what effects a candy can give?
And I also think it would be cool to add an item that would predict what effect a candy of that colour will have next (or add that effect to one of the existing items). Like, right now any orange one will give you a razor, and any red one will heal you.

(and yes, I'm playing with the mod, having a blast).

This is fantastic! There really need to be more mods like this that just add new interesting items as groups so I won't have to download hundreds of mods for 1 item each. Amazing work, can't wait to see what you've got coming up next.

Agreed with EvOvv here. Candy works wonderfully as a sort of tainted alternative to pills like reverse tarot cards are for cards.

hey, idk if you're going for a like pill replacement type vibe with the candies, but I think a great item would be one that shows what a candy will do, smth like phd or false phd for pills.

it decreases deal chance because so does Bad Trip. it doesn't prioritize red health, meaning soul hearts protect against it. but I'll think about changing that, or adding a config, sure

The mod is cool and interesting. But the fact that razors bring down the chance of a deal is cringe. A 25% chance that you're not going to get a deal for fun sounds not fun at all, and at that rate you just don't want to take candy. That kind of damage you just can't control.
Is it possible to at least make a setting in the pure mod so that this option can be turned off? (ideally, that it is from the beginning)
