as a note to people who subscribed to this mod before it was updated, this mod now has a dependency. if that dependency (timberapi.uibuilder) is not loaded, the game will crash.
--> happened to me. now this mod works with the dependency loaded.

Can you show mods that aren't compatible?

It depends on TimberApi UIBuilder now. It was split out of TimberApi for the latest update.

Unavailable mods are those that you have downloaded locally, but are no longer available in the workshop.

All my current mods are broken due to the new update.

What "unavailable" means. please?

This mod forces a search for the current information about the mods that are currently installed and checks that the update timestamp as reported by the Steam servers is the same as the update timestamp cached locally. It does this when the main menu is displayed. I'm glad that you find it useful.

if it helps any, i appreciate this mod as i find that the mods for various games do not get updated in a timely manner.

I tried to tell Valve this, and they flat out ignored me and closed my ticket, claiming its my network's fault. Perhaps if you can report the bug to them too and show the code that fixes it? Or perhaps this is just an alt version of fixing it by forcing download where steam's got a different issue to fix in their back end.

It started when they switched workshop from 32 bit IDs to 64 bit IDs, all 64 bit ID ones fail to auto download.

I dunno why the devs of Timberborn ignored the input about it though. Perhaps because they banned me from their discord long ago they decided my input isn't valuable. :/

Yep, when I was investigating the issue I came across a bunch of other games with mods that implemented the same fix, so I was pretty sure it was going to be a problem even after experimental.

This is funny. Valve claims this update issue doesn't exist, and the devs here claimed it was only during experimental when I knew it wasn't.

I planned on moving all mods back to just using Mod IO but, this may help instead. Who knows. I'll give it a try.
