It works on both. You must have an incompatibility with another mod that's affecting HE eagles.

hi sorry to bother you, but the mod only seems to work for wood elves, and not HE, is this on purpose?

@modmodmod Yeah, a single eagle has certain advantages over a 5-entity unit, like dealing damage more quickly, which is convenient for limited-time summons. Also, I don't think a creature summoned by a spell should boost the troops' morale.

@Nolorfin
I didn't know that was what you intended. If so, I'll add it for personal use. Thanks.

@modmodmod I did apply the changes to summoned eagles in WH2, but decided against it this time. I can add them if there's enough interest.

I think it would be good to apply this to 'wh2_main_hef_mon_great_eagle_summoned' too!

@Autumnchain I use to watch The White Tower bro for his mod list and his mod schooling. I miss that dude. I hope he's well yet for him to leave like that is weird.

HP per entity added to the description.

@Deathbringer The creator of the first upload onto TWW3 (who promised to take it down if Nolorfin ever ported it) doesn't appear to have taken down their mods but to have dropped off the face of the earth. They are no longer on Steam and their youtube account has vanished as well.

Thanks for the mod, when it was taken down by other mod author. Legit thank full for your service.

Might want to include the HP per model in the mod description.

Done.

Don't forget to update your screenshot.

Nice, it worked. I've updated the mod after removing the Wounds passive.

So the technique used in the mod resorts to data coring. Never expected that. In that case, I have a different mod you can reference (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2987860443) . It's my mod that does something similar to yours, turning a single-entity unit into a multi-model unit. However, it does not do any data coring, instead exploiting how certain abilities can be made to override other abilities (for example, this aspect is used in the vanilla game to make Stand your Ground! override Rally!) by creating an invisible, do nothing ability that overrides Wounds. I'm sending my mod to them so that they can make their mod no longer Data Core.

After looking into it, I can only remove the Wounds passive ability from Great Eagles by turning the mod into a patch that overrides the base game, which is generally a bad idea. I you really want the passive to go, I recommend using the mod that deactivates it for all single entities.

You might find that replacing your screenshot isn't as simple as just replacing the screenshot in your folder and then reuploading. You might have to go as far as to delete this mod and then reupload it.

@Autumnchain I was actually thinking about that this morning. Thank you for the reference mod, I will remove the passive later today.

I'm glad to see that this was finally ported. However, I noticed in your screenshot that the Great Eagles still have the Wounds passive. This mod (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3047741533) removes it from all single entities and you'll probably be able to figure out how it works and use it to remove wounds from Great Eagles.
