do you think it would be possible to add a sticker for the bear with the star on the grip? (and maybe making the hammer gold but if that is too much, that's fine, I know nothing about making warpaints.)

I absolutely love this warpaint, the detailing looks amazing and the quality is top tier. I do like this remake more than the old version as well. The only gripe I have is that it's so close to the top shelf skins; after a little bit of looking over it, I think it's different enough with the highlights that It's a really good skin. I will probably sell my shotgun for a strange fac new version of this if it ever gets in the game (it won't because valve sucks.)

The solid tan colors aren't very appealing, but the rest of the warpaint looks nice.

Yeah it looks great with what you can do, until Valve actually lets people edit the base layouts themselves. Good luck getting this in for the Winter case (if we get one)

I deliberated over the base a lot, trying out several different ones with mixed results, and wound up going with Gobi Glazed because I think the Saccharine Striped/Elfin Enamel base requires the least amount of compromise, and it's a reasonably cheap mercenary grade that I have a large quantity of. There's a handful of textures I'd swap around if I had the means, but I'm ultimately pleased with the final result.

I'd definitely try to pick up an SMG or any of the demoman items. those are peak with this

Pretty nice. Definitely an improvement over V1. Funny that you're using Gobi as a base, very self referential lol. But the base really lines up the wood texture onto the best places (the stock) despite the flawed bases everyone is forced to conform to. Definitely the best choice, and looks great on almost everything except maybe the Jag and the miniguns
