If anyone is wondering where they can find the mod folder to begin with in your steamapps folder. Open the folder "workshop". Open "content". open "976730" (I guess that's the number folder given to the MCC).
And then just follow the details that I copied and reposted from jff0123's post. The mod showed up for me in the Halo 2 game selection area (single player and multiplayer) as soon as I made these adjustments:

First, install the mod. Then before you launch the game, go to this mod's ModInfo.json (which is in a folder named 3361280895). On the "MinAppVersion" and "MaxAppVersion" sections in that file, find "Major", "Minor", and "Patch" and change the numbers to the one shown below:
"Major": 0,
"Minor": 0,
"Patch": 0
After that is done, save the file and launch the game.

Keep in mind that this comment is for Meta but anyone who got stuck trying to launch this mod are welcome to read and use this method. That's all from me.
Of course, I don't blame you if you want to give up on playing this mod because of this issue. Besides, for me, I only installed it just to tide me over until Ruby's Halo 2 Rebalance mod eventually gets released.

where it says "MinAppVersion" and "MaxAppVersion" change those all to 0's
