Oh my god, I mean oh my god. I just wanted a big map to break stuff, but at one point I had to stop. This isn't some hospital map, this is a real hospital. I've been in these, not as a patient but as an electrician. I've run miles conduit for these places, installed panels, hooked up generators, everything. This isn't just a map, this is a model train set. The details are incredible, and even more than that, they are right. Circuit breaker placement, breakers in the on position. Backup generator. The garage isn't just a place for the ambulances to park, a full on shop. I see all the tool chests. Every detail where it needs to be.
I mean like, at one point I was going to do a Patrick Bateman style comment about all the amazing details, but the more I saw the more I just had to let the creators know how freaking amazing this is. I really can't say enough about it, I've played triple A games with less detail in the whole game combined. There is nothing here out of place, nothing missing.

also if I was to make a small suggestion for the sky-box. trying to include the skyway center caldera tower and oak street low res versions that way there is a small visual connection between all those great maps :cool_eol::Emily3_Like:

Have you tried disabling the Elevators? (since they are the primary cause of the lag currently)

@Salad Fries - I could play with the electrical panels in this map all day long. The sub panels on each floor for not only normal power, but emergency as well is a nice touch. This is my kind of map! I'm nerding out on being able to control every floor, room, plug and light in the building :)

@Graysnewcity - for the switchboards in the basement, hovering over the breaker should (hopefully) indicate what panel it is feeding. The individual breakers within the panels are unfortunately not labeled as well as they should be. will look into a solution to make the system more legible. Regarding panel naming, they all follow the same general formula. Examples below:
-EP4A - EP=emergency panel, 4=floor, A=tower side
-LP2B - LP=lighting panel, 2=floor, B=short side
-RP6A - RP=receptacle panel, 6=floor, A=tower side

@ThatoneDutchguy - unfortunately, I've not run into this issue before with extensive testing. I'd recommend checking if potentially another mod is interfering with the operation by temporarily turning off all other mods to see if that solves the issue.

@stealth210 - Glad you like it! Regarding the elevator power, I can confirm that this will actually be resolved in the next update.

Only one critique on an otherwise awesome map. The elevators are still powered after both main feeds fail and generator manually shut down. Elevators should have no power in the dead building. Also, the elevators should have no power during the transition to generator (or are they on "UPS" during that time?). They can fail by falling to the first floor and leaving the doors open.

This is amazing and the electrical work is my favorite part! You have all the circuits to sub panels, automatic transfer switch, dual utility feeds, delay for generator to start, emergency circuits. I'm blow away about all those details. Well done!

Goodafternoon, when i spawn into the map none of the Electrical systems work, gen turns on, but no lights. It does work when i turn the electrical panels off. Anyway to fix this?

@Graysnewcity - In the basement map, the abbreviations are as follows:
-UTL - utility source.. the green boxes on each side of the hospital (note, there is an unlabeled 3rd box at the spawn point that feeds both of them. This 3rd box is merely a way to quickly turn off all power.)
-GEN - generator
-black = normal power
-red = emergency power

I tried to limit annotation due to scaling/legibility issues. :(

The map doesn't have NPCs/ragdolls. If you wish to have NPCs/ragdolls, you can download and spawn them from mods on the workshop.

Also, I don't plan to add any NPCs/ragdolls in the future as they will cause a lot of lag.

Hi Salad & Foxy, don't apologise, the map is amazing. I followed your instructions and disabled all power boxes plus the generator but all the lights remained on. I understand however it it's still WIP.

There should be 2 locations to turn on/off the main power:
1- outside, there are 2 green boxes. Both need to be turned off for the power to go out
2- in the parking garage, there are 2 switchgear rooms. The larger one has a big switchgear. There should be a switch on both sides of it (both need to be turned off.. the lights in the center should go out)

When the power is out, the generator kicks on to power the em lighting.

The generator is outside in back of the hospital.

To turn the generator off, there are some buttons behind one of the enclosure doors.

I'm aware of that… the electrical system is heavily wip. Personally, I feel like it was updated a bit too soon, but it is what it is. Hopefully, someday it can be finished! :steamthumbsup:

Love this map. I tried exploring the powor system but none of the switches seem to turn power off. If you disable them all what sounds like a generator starts but there doesn't seem to be a way to find or disable it.
