@Achilles, sadly this mod will not work with B42. I am (admittedly slowly) working on it :)
XxAchillesxX 30 Dec, 2024 @ 4:00am
Has anyone tried this with b42 unstable?
BloodhoundMk2 12 Dec, 2024 @ 11:07am
Ok sounds good, thanks for the reply

@BloodhoundMk2, I am not very familiar with the server code, so I cant say for sure how that would work. If this mod is installed on the server, they anyone without the code would suffer a crash. If each person has the mod installed individually and the server does not... I honestly dont know how that would work if some do and some dont.
BloodhoundMk2 11 Dec, 2024 @ 2:04pm
So without the mod they would be able to join and play normally, just without the tuner parts?
tkonrye  [author] 11 Dec, 2024 @ 1:05pm
If you want to use the tuner parts, each person would need the manual install. Yeah it works in multiplayer.

Does this work in multiplayer? Also does everyone have to download the mod or just the host?

@ExXanAbuser yes it does, its designed to work with a mod that has compatibility with LOTS of modded cars so it better lol.
ExXanAbuser 29 Nov, 2024 @ 2:35pm
Does this work with modded cars?

@gibson8088, it "should" work fine, but I would back up you save just in case. You may have some vehicles go through the part assignment process, so just in case if you have any vehicle storage full of stuff, I would move it out. That really shouldnt matter to be honest but to be on the safe side I would. All existing and all newly spawned vehicles will get parts, just be aware that if you fixed up a vehicle that was all red in condition the new parts will also spawn in that sort of condition.

Anything we should know if we want to add this to an existing save?

Update: If you are using TksRVA3, an issue was discovered when towing trailers, this has been corrected but will require reinstalling the zombie folder included with this mod. If you are NOT using TksRVA3 or BetterCarPhysics, this update can be ignored.

well technically the radiator is a part of the induction system, but I do get what you are saying. Its something that I will consider as a sub mod later, as it would be not to everyone's taste ha ha :)
Hyolffe 11 Nov, 2024 @ 5:19pm
yea i was thinking similar, stuff like radiators, alternators, engine oil and such like that.
would be nice for us gearheads
tkonrye  [author] 11 Nov, 2024 @ 6:52am
@xyllisa, yes I think it could, but each part is a lot of work, so for the moment I have stuck closer to the concept of vanilla. In fact the intake and induction components dont even suffer wear yet. It may be a good idea for another mod though!
Xyllisa Meem Paradox Station 11 Nov, 2024 @ 1:43am
silly idea, but anyway this could be extended to making car maintenance in general more important? things like specific engine parts, or other such nonsense.
