That aside, before entering somewhere, you can soft lock yourself if you quickly switch back to a melee weapon such as the scythe. Strangely enough you can clear the following sequence due to there being a small patch of dark area between the lights cast by the two lamp poles but in the part right after that you will just get gunned down when the second wave jumps in.
Pretty cool to resize objects to give an illusion, along with a cool usage of single levels (the cut-scenes)
