Cutting it's value roughly in half, maybe to 700 would STILL be very strong.

TO ANYONE who don't want to keep "prized skin" which have 1250 gold each to become balance.
That item too unbalance and need a nerf to make this class more balance for me so here how to do it.
1/locate the mod file "3362800212" (folde traper mod"
2/open "inventory"
3/open dis_trapper.gem.inventory.items.darkes with notepad
4/change from
inventory_item: .type "gem" .id "dis_trapper_hide" .base_stack_limit 99 .purchase_gold_value 0 .sell_gold_value 1250
to
inventory_item: .type "gem" .id "dis_trapper_hide" .base_stack_limit X .purchase_gold_value 0 .sell_gold_value Y

WHICH Y = Value to sell item .Which me is 100,i feel ok which this value,not too unbalance and worth to use the skill.Anyway it still free gold so don't make the game boring just for that.

The gold he can skin his way into is insane, but that's all he's going to end up doing if you get greedy for it and you'll be constantly micromanaging your party to keep corpses around for him to collect. So for that alone he's more of a situational pick, similar to Antiquarian, where you're confident to get through fights with just the three others.
Personally I prefer using him as a healer for my hyper-moving teams, just slapping all the "healing done" relics on him and he's basically a lite Vestal - but with tha mooooves, not focusing on the skinning much. Though it is a lot of fun the first few times sending him off on a long mission with nothing but skins in mind and returning with a fat stack of 60k+ gold.
Definitely not a balanced char but versatile and a lot of fun. Instant lock-in for my modded fun runs.
"from above" debuff SPD and DODGE with 2 hit is too much.
confusion spore make enemy reduce ACC and it too much because he can spam many time on a single boss nad make they vulnerable.
Skin prey can earn too much gold and clear corpse that is too good for a skill

My only coplain is I wish he could use his healing skill from rank 2. For now he's competing with Jester, Vestal and strong back row DPS units and it's kinda hard to pick him over other options.
Lastly I would give him one more trinket just like serrated jaws but for blight chance so that his guard skill is valuable in a bleed resistant fights. Wearing both at the same time would cancel each other for balance reasons. That's only my idea after testing him. He's still fine without any changes :>
The skin prize mechanic is actually quite fun, it actively changed my playstyle because I needed corpses to stay so no crit kills or damage over time. Agree with everyone else in the comments though, each one is worth far too much compared to how high they can stack (like 20 or so).
Either limiting the stack size to 5 (like gems) or cutting the price of each skin would make this part of the mod better balanced.
