i went down a seperate path than my friend and got the event to get The First Flame
i took no damage for the next 2 fights
on the third fight, i took no damage on the first turn, then got hit past my block on the second
as soon as the hit happened, my game crashed, and the stack trace said it was the avatar mod
i had nothing else on my character from the mod, and neither of my friends crashed
I'm finding it pretty difficult to make it far though. I'm not great at the game to begin with though. Multiple enemy rooms in a row (2-3 enemies per room) is super difficult no matter how I build (fire, water, air, earth). I've tried defensive and offensive and a hybrid (which did the worst) and they just seem to be able to whittle me down pretty fast. Any tips or tricks that might be helpful in dealing with multiple enemy rooms one after another?
Seriously, maybe there should be a limit on the [blood bending] , like 10% max blood or so.
But beside this, this is an excellent mod. Beautiful cards, unique events, moderate difficulty. Satisfactory from all aspects.
Block scaling has an option that gets pretty silly, the Earth Etching power scales with the amount of dex you have when you play it, so eg with 10 extra dex (from Earth Armour or whatever) you're getting (3+10)*earth-lvl block per turn
Starter relics don't seem to actually do anything other than let character use their new mechanics
The character really does seem interesting and I'm sure there was a lot of work that went into making it, just the cards could use some fine-tuning
Spirit Water heals without exhausting, Flowing Water heals you = to water level at end of combat, both encourage stalling fights to heal up to full
Posture and Earth Armour let you stack up silly amounts of str/dex repeatedly with a bit of earth generation
Guru is glacially slow build up of chakra per turn for a 3-cost rare power
Shock Therapy is actively detrimental to play and doesn't have any benefit until 4 turns later, not really what you'd want for a 4 (3) cost rare power
The skills that swap or increases element levels but do nothing else seem too weak to play on their own
AoE options are kind of scarce
