This gets a 10/10 for realism!
It will be also the unique unit for Saudi Arabia, Israel, Morocco.
Any work around for this?
The F-35, on the other hand, is a shorter-range, multi-role fighter that is designed to complement naval fleets, and it does not have the extended range or strategic focus of the B-2 Spirit. By correcting this in the next update, the distinction between these two units will be preserved—the F-35 will remain versatile and carrier-compatible, while the B-2 Spirit will serve as a land-based bomber with unmatched operational range.
Brazil is already on my list

As I will be releasing exclusive content away from the steam workshop, that includes paramilitaries & beyond.
I hope this helps clarify the direction and intention behind the mod! The collection is meant to deliver a high-powered, thematic experience, rather than traditional Civ balance. Once the collection is complete and a scenario is introduced, the Civs will be balanced within that ecosystem, creating a cohesive and competitive experience. Your feedback on balance and thematic alignment is especially valuable, and I’ll be using it to refine future updates. Thanks again for your thoughtful critique—this kind of input helps me improve the mod and ensure it’s an enjoyable experience for all players. If you have further ideas or suggestions, feel free to share them—I’d love to hear more of your thoughts!
You’re absolutely correct that Donald Trump’s leadership style leaned toward isolationism rather than interventionism. The civ’s abilities aren’t tied directly to his leadership but to the nation’s overarching strengths. If anything, the inclusion of traits like increased unit production and trade benefits reflects America’s institutional and historical capacity for power projection, which exists independently of any single leader. Future leader options will allow players to explore alternate interpretations of America’s identity in the modern era.
The Modern Day World Leaders Collection is designed to bring the 21st century into Civ 5, offering players the chance to experience the modern strategic and political landscape. Unlike traditional Civ mods that focus on historical leaders, this collection emphasizes contemporary nations and their multifaceted strengths. Each Civ is intentionally powerful, reflecting their real-world counterparts, and tailored for matches within this high-powered collection. This approach allows for unique combinations of leaders and traits, offering something fresh and dynamic for Civ players.
While I understand the concern about the number of unique elements, this was a deliberate choice to showcase the diversity of America’s power across different domains—military, economic, and diplomatic. The aim is to create a Civ that offers flexibility, allowing players to explore multiple strategic paths. This mirrors the USA’s real-world influence and diversity in capabilities. However, I’ll revisit the balance of these abilities to ensure they feel impactful but not excessive.
I think this is where the biggest misunderstanding lies. The civ’s traits are meant to represent the country’s overall power and identity, while the leader is a modular element that can be swapped out to reflect different leadership styles. For example, while Donald Trump represents one perspective of modern American leadership, other leaders—who may embody different values, traits, and playstyles—will be available in the future via updates and community contributions on Discord. The current version of the USA civ is just one facet of what I intend to offer.
Additionally, this collection is designed to be self-contained. Once the collection reaches a certain number of Civs, the plan is to introduce a dedicated scenario, similar to Earth 2014, where all the Civs in the collection will be balanced against each other for a competitive, cohesive experience. This focus ensures that while individual Civs may feel overpowered now, the collection as a whole will eventually offer balanced and engaging gameplay when played together & not with other civs in the workshop.
1. On Being Overpowered:
You’re absolutely right that the USA civ in its current form is very strong. That’s intentional, as the idea behind the Modern Day World Leaders Collection is to create Civs and leaders that embody the power and influence of their real-world counterparts. The mod isn’t designed to be balanced with the base game or other workshop Civs. Instead, it’s meant to offer a distinct, high-powered gameplay experience, where each Civ reflects its unique strengths and abilities.
Thanks for the support man!
