Im holding G down, nothing's happening sometimes. any specific requirement or is it some mod incompatibility with sailing fast forward?

I'd rather it be available regardless of what ship you have to be frank, after all you don't lose cargo when a ship sinks.

If I place items in the crates and my ship is destroyed do I lose those items? Or is it available regardless of what ship you have? Can you make it so I lose items if the main ship is destroyed?
