this only lowers the number of core fragments the mother poptop drops, not removes them. so it would be 15 core fragments dropped instead of 20, and you'd only need to find 5 more.

What about adding some core fragments to the end caps of the mine, so if someone doesn't wanna kill the mother poptop they have a reasonable chance to get enough. I often find the mine to be 1-5 short.
