Guess this one can be considered as broken as of Update 7 and the Modders seems to either have moved on or being unable to work on it.

When this is updated, will the middle of beams be able to be connected to? Much like how Bob's tube bridges work?

Same issue as @Paolo.gil.ostrea, no power shafts showing.
paolo.gil.ostrea 1 Mar @ 6:02pm
i dont see any additional items for these power shafts. are we supposed to see power shafts bridges and tunnels? do i need to install any other mods to see these?

Hi! Is there a possibilty to 'shut down' a power shaft when it's a drought? I want my engines next to my fermenting station power only my fermenters and shut the power shaft line down when it's a drought. Otherwise my engines are providing energy to all the other buildings in a drought, which lowers the output of my food.

Le'ts translate it to polish

is this still being updated?

Are these able, or could they be adjusted(?) to be used with the Whitepaw Faction again?

good mod

@Marimbrawr and @Canna37625 I believe these are already provided in the Vertical Power Shaft mod - Although vertical power shafts are now in the game, these additional variants you;re looking for are available in that mod!

One thing to note though, I'm not sure if you can place those junctions directly on tunnels - it's to do with the new occupation strategy. Not something I can resolve in this mod I'm afraid

Marimbrawr is right i was think the same thing, would be useful, very much so

Vertical to horizontal 3 way and 4 way connectors

Hi @Battery Smooth, big fan of your work with flywheels etc. Now with the added vertical shafts, I find something essential that's missing from the game is a 3way & 4way vertical-horizontal connector. ie connecting up, down and left/right. If you could somehow pleaseeeee add this as a mod, it would definitely be the most useful mod!!

I get it now. Yes, an updated picture would help especially for old users like myself. Thanks again for my favorite mod.
Battery Smooth  [author] 22 Nov, 2024 @ 11:00am
@Flumeister Yeah they've been changed from the U5 version of this mod - I should probably update the image. They now need a Vertical (or Vertical to Horizontal) shaft to connect to them, or they can connect directly to a building over the top of them!
flumeister 21 Nov, 2024 @ 8:40pm
When I place the segment down only the base of the endpoint is rendered/displayed. There are no gears or top visible - nothing for a building or other power shaft to connect to. The above ground elements look and work as in update 5, but the underground shafts are missing something at the ends. I have removed all other mods to confirm it isn't a conflicting mod.
Battery Smooth  [author] 21 Nov, 2024 @ 11:43am
@flumeister - It should just be a case of building the tunnels on a terrain tile (they're ground-only) and connecting a powershaft or a building to it! c:

@CC22A - It does say that the connection is blocked, but it is not actually blocked. There doesn't seem to be an easy way for me to fix this I'm afraid, but they do work if connected

This is amazing, great work!
Maoman 21 Nov, 2024 @ 8:18am
@Alcator I mean it seems pretty obvious to me. Just imagine suspension bridges, but for power transfer instead of travel.
flumeister 20 Nov, 2024 @ 1:13pm
Is anyone sucessfully using the underground powershafts? I used them in all of my builds with Update 5, but can't get them to work now.
Alcator 20 Nov, 2024 @ 8:35am
The screenshot and the description doesn't really explain what this does.
CC22A 20 Nov, 2024 @ 8:34am
Does this actually work? Because whenever I tried connecting the shaft to the vanilla shafts it says connection blocked
Anlauf 18 Nov, 2024 @ 10:30pm
You can make power shaft underground and bridges.
For underground:
use dynamite to make a way.
Place the shafts as your desire.
Cover with platforms.

I personally use this method to make irrigation ways and roads, running the shafts with it.

Might post a screenshot later.

Adds power shaft bridges and power shaft tunnels that go through ground
Quarren King of Q 17 Nov, 2024 @ 12:09am
what does this do? add platforms? im a little confused. a comment said something about underground
Whitewolf 15 Nov, 2024 @ 10:15pm
Could you make this work with the Emberpelts faction please...
flumeister 15 Nov, 2024 @ 8:27am
The underground power shafts don't seem to be working. The endpoints appear as solid ground when exposed by dynamite, so nothing for other power shafts to connect to. BTW, I really like the new mechanics not requiring the beavers to create holes prior to placing and the cost is more realistic. I use these in all of my builds so I hope this can be fixed soon.

The description is nice and somewhat explains what it does but for someone who doesn't know what this mod is, it doesn't explain what this mod does exactly and would be helpful to have a better description which would help me and future viewers of this mod.
