Since this mod is most likely not going to be updated, I decided to use chatgpt to make a version that should work with both npcs and nextbots (that includes drgbase)

extract the original mod, find lockin.lua, make a copy of it, and paste this code into the original lockin.lua

the command to toggle the highlight doesn't seem to exist, but a workaround is to use the command autoaim_highlight_color and set all 3 digits to 0. hope this helps

is there a way to make this TRY to put the camera somewhere you can see an enemy, its cool but kind of debilitating when it makes you look the exact opposite from the combine (camera avoiding fed) to try and shoot them

Awesome, vertical magnetism now functions as it should. I appreciate you taking previous reports and suggestions into consideration, it's good fun to play with your addon
I have another feature to suggest: auto-switch target to the closest one once your current target dies/goes out of range/goes out of visible range

This a damn good mod that I needed badly but it's a pain to open and sort the console every time i want to play a game.

Would it be possible to sort some settings out in the options menu. It's okay to ask for help with sorting this by the by.

Damn I just noticed there's no vertical mouse lock during lock-on, any plans on implementing that? I just tried to seriously play with the mod and only noticed this now

Was the original autoaim_switch removed? I liked that it would pick a target for me without having to choose for myself.

The delay is fixed now, thank you so much for active maintaining!
Controls are great as well but I noticed this weird targeting difference depending on placement of enemies (notice how controls react differently when I get behind the combine): http://temp.sh/MagAl/Lock-in_Target_2.mp4
I guess it's no huge issue if you can't fix it, just thought I'd give you feedback while I'm at it

Both commands work wonrefully now, although they're inverted for some reason (left cycles to the right and in reverse)
Here's a video of that issue I mentioned: http://temp.sh/cmNvr/Lock-in_Target.mp4 (temporary file hosting website). In it you can see that at first crosshair doesn't lerp to the next target in full until some fixed amount of time passes, and it's pretty consistent

Thank you, it works in a bit weird though. Sometimes controls are inverted (testing with 3+ still NPCs in a line), "autoaim_switch_left" cycles through enemies from right to left exceptionally well, but "autoaim_switch_right" only cycles one enemy left and then each subsequent input just cycles back and forth between those first two enemies. Also, I noticed this other bug if you enter +autoaim without moving your mouse and try to switch left/right then you crosshair will not ever reach the enemy, unless you readjust your mouse a bit. I can get some video feedback for you if you really need. Otherwise it's a godsend
