My brain hurts

An absolutely delightful puzzle-oriented campaign, of which only increase in quality the further you progress. They're ingenious but familiar, perfectly suited for the source engine. I'm utterly unable to believe I've slept on this gem until today.

Is the car section shit by design? every time i get out of the vehicle and then back in i cant move forward in the car.

First mod I've quit so far in Half-Life 2 besides for buggy reasons. Terrible. It relies on mechanics that Half-Life 2 does not have like precise leading of antlions. Since you can't precisely order antlions having a maze requiring precision is a futile waste of time and just a stressful heap of garbage.

really fun but the colored lights needed for keypad codes don't show up, probably because i'm using vulkan

Interesting puzzle maps but I had to give up in the lab room with the microwave. I couldn't figure out the code to unlock the cube.

This has been incredible! Haven't finished it yet but I love all of the new and interesting puzzle ideas! The only problem I've had so far has been at the water/pipe section where you fill up the water by busting the pipes, and then hitting the electricity switch so as to not die when you jump up onto the metal grate.
I had to hit the switch 3 times with a busted pipe for it to finally work! I thought I was doing something wrong but nope.

there was a glitch where a combine soldier was flying right after the first few minutes of the mod

very nice mod, i stop playing at the pipes, with toxic waste puzzle, i was kind of boring, in a game where you shoot things , not shooting things turns boring very fast.

still tho, if anyone likes clever, fun puzzles, this mod is for you

Idk what happened because everything was working fine, but after I exited the game and returned I'm suddenly getting missing model errors

Unplayable bug: on aircar (with cool flames) on the level when your jail 3 giant antlions, leaving the aircar makes you frozen and can only control the car from afar.

im also getting crashes at the start, same as Armalight.
Mod was loaded in the EP2 main menu as instructed.

Amazing puzzle game, can see why people cry about the car, but it'd be very boring if it didn't control horribly.

Hey hey, just a quick question, the game is crashing right at the beginning, during the 2nd little blackout. I hear an explosion, and then it crashes. I have no other mods enabled, so I'm not sure what's causing it. Thanks

A bit of a shame that other workshop mods don't really work, but overall a really fun, classic mod. The puzzles were never too difficult to figure out but at the same time were challenging enough to Run, Think, Not Shoot, and Live. Glad it got ported over to the workshop

cant exit the car to solve puzzles at the end of the game. not sure if it's a bug or a glitch in my playthrough or what. wondering if others have had the same issue. thanks.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I downloaded this mod but my god, what an amazing experience. As a HL and Portal fan, this was super fun.

A totally must for every HL fan.

Godtier campaign mod holy. While it doesn't focus too heavily on gunplay, it cranks up everything else to 11. So many physic interactions, puzzles and heavily interactive environments. 10/10

There's only very few nitpicks like the car being a bit strange to control, and you being able to gravity gun the turrets down while still having a kill zone in the middle of the crossfire for some reason, but with how interesting everything else is, it's just veeeery nitpicky things.

Unsubscribe from other mods. By subscribing to random workshop items you are creating conflicts. Also select Half-Life 2: Episode Two in the main menu before starting the mod to load necessary materials.

Crashes at the start. 0/10

If you exit the car during the finale at all you get stuck and you need to get out at-least twice, turn on your console and enter "ent_fire ui deactivate" and you can look around and move again. You have to do this every time you exit the vehicle so copy-paste it.

Amazing mod! Very fun and creative.

I've never been into mods, but with the release of the 20th aniversary edition of Half-Life 2 I decided to play through HL2 and the episodes again, and I took a peek at campaign style mods and subscribed to a couple. This one is the longest I've tried so far, took me about two hours!

It might be faster or slower for you depending on how good you are at puzzles because this mod is Puzzle Central. The puzzles were both really infuriating when I couldn't solve them and very satisfying when I finally figured it out, which usually took no more than 5 minutes per puzzle.

Trying it out after playing through HL2 and the episodes, in 2024, with no nostalgia for this mod or any HL2 mod, I can say I enjoyed the experience overall and recommend it!

when i get off the car i can't look around and wasd still controls the car, how can i fix that?
