AI aircraft are frankly dumb as a bag of rocks right now, so once the game gets better, I'll update the mission. Because I'll eventually redo all my missions when the game is in a more complete state, don't expect any updates to any of them unless a new patch completely breaks everything. It's been easily over a month since I've played any mission in this game and I don't have the desire to mess with the scenario editor and the lacking AI. Call me when it's ready to full release.

Not overly familiar with the scenario editor, but had a suggestion. Is there a way to add an objective to the island, an area on the south side for instance, that fires when a CH-47 enters the designated area? Could this then trigger one of the observation posts to change sides? You could flavour it then as inserting Marine recon onto the island and they are taking over a position to provide eyes to the fleet.

Really fun scenario, but a bit too easy. How about adding some soviet aircraft (jak-38's?). I would also love to play the mission from a soviet perspective.

Great scenario! To the commenter who thinks it’s unrealistic that Harriers don’t have radar, I suggest reading up on the specifications of this aircraft and the weapons they carried. Overall, the scenario is easy to play through and doesn’t pose any serious challenges.

On my first playthrough, despite not knowing all the nuances, I managed to destroy all enemy forces while losing only one Harrier and two Cobras. And even then, only the plane was lost in combat - crashed into the ground while trying to evade fire, while the helicopters were lost simply because I was goofing around.

Yes, I would suggest adding 1-2 diesel submarines for the enemy that could "ambush" the U.S. fleet for a torpedo attack.

Harriers have ZERO radar capabilities and all dumb bombs, and so fly blindly into everything. This is too unrealistic even for a game. Entire friendly fleet cannot see a certain 3 ship enemy menace that swarms allies with anti ship missiles, but of course the enemy can see the allied fleet. I'm not sure about all the accolade parroting, this scenario needs some tweaking in order to realistically satisfying. Maybe add an enemy sub if more challenge is needed, but stripping the player of the ability to use radar is unfair.

This was fun! My notes:

Finding Dutch Harbor on the map was a little difficult in the very beginning, the circle for it is tiny

The scenario could've been a bit harder, with just a little bit of scouting you could feasibly KO everything in the enemy area with tomahawks.

The enemy surface fleet was cool, but wasn't much of a challenge.

I really enjoyed the scenario. There was constant action and not a lot of loitering on the high seas, like in some other scenarios.

A fun scenario! I had trouble with the sub... I found it surfaced and I think it was beached, but other than that,no problems ! I really enjoyed solving the puzzle of getting in the harbor! My Harrier pilots did not.

Great scenario. Any chance that aircraft could have AI terrain following, had 2 Harriers SEAD loadout take the time to fly behind the enemy position to just fly into a hill at 200ft. Also this scenario loads on the PACT side not NATO??

For the Marines, you can't land them. I'll make a note in the mission, but the best thing is to role-play dropping them off by setting the helis to 20ft altitude

Great scenario, really fun.

But i had several problems (bugs), these more of a game related, but maybe a watchout for players
the AH-1T helicopters don't follow terrain on some islands (Seasprites are fine)
and the submarine spawned, or ran itself, partially beached, making it not detectable by sonobuoys and my torpedoes are not able to hit it, but funnily enough, it still can fire its own torpedoes (rip Missuri)

Hey Mr. Jäger, i have a small suggestion/favor to ask; Any chance you could create a collection of all your Scenarios?

That way, those of us who pretty universally love your work, can just subscribe to the collection and then whenever you add a new Mission/Scenario to it, we automatically download it?

The mission doesn't have a victory condition trigger popup because they interfered with Wolfpack's recording, requiring more editing on his part to work around the break in the immersion. You have to role play the mission's end.

Fantastic scenario. It felt like i was fighting an American Falklands War. I would like to see this is part of a greater series set around a Aleutian flashpoint.

Im not sure if this battle in the context of a greater war, but i think it would be an interesting story being its own limited conflict that is trying not to spill into a greater war.

That Sub at the end caught me off guard, when i thought it was all over, i lost my only surface unit, a OHP to torpedo. Its really hard to detect subs in shallow waters, wonder if that part of the sim?

There was no official end trigger that fired for me, not sure if there was meant to be?
