That mod gives me red flags from glancing at it. Dynamic glow could be done with a separate addon that overwrites the material (VMT) file.

never experienced that so i'm sure that's an isolated problem
plus, most people i know have 300+ mods installed all at once so they lose track and start getting problems mixed up
i only have 90 and maybe 110 on the off chance i don't reset my addons list

I try not to publish texture replacements to the Garry's Mod workshop, only standalone models. This is out of bad personal experience with add-ons I've installed replacing models or textures without asking, such as turning a grenade into a shoe or replacing particle effects with flashier ones.
