There is some clipping with the top of the helicopter hangar door, but a cool model!

Thanks to everyone for your feedback. I've made some (mostly visual tweaks) to the mod. Hope you enjoy watching those Exocet hatches fly open as much as I do! :D

Some additional submodels to cover the LIMBO mortar pit and to build up the hanger so the SH-2 doesn't clip through the deck when it spawns would also be welcome changes.

Hello @L337Rage. Happy to try and help, it's all about editing the .ini files tp pull in the relevant mesh from another ship. I posted a link to the BuOrd modding discord server below, which has a very friendly community who helped me get this one working!

@Wildriver2011 - maybe, though the "squinting" required would be much greater than this kitbash! I need to find something that will be a decent proxy for the SeaWolf launcher too.

@Frankly Frankly - That target was bouncing, or the Type 21? The 20mms do pack a punch! I haven't altered anything in the 20mm ammunition file, so it should be the same behaviour as for other boats equipped with them. Any update Triassic make to the vanilla files should be reflected in this mod automatically (I tried to write the modded files to have a few changes as possible)

The 20mm rounds seem to have janky physics when targeting ships. I had it fire at a ship and when it was scoring hits, the ship was bouncing back and forth like it was being punched about in the waves. Not tiny bounces, like near enough capsizing

@OT-Yuzuru[TW] No special software was used - the entire model was created by editing existing .ini files to import different models. The only "new" thing was to re-purpose ASROC launcher boxes into the Exocet missile launchers (sadly the ones on the Tiger fast attack craft are hard modelled onto the boat and can't be added to other ships).

@WilliamTooke78 - thanks for the heads up, I'll take a look. It may be to do with how the Oerlikon's are coded in the base game though. I could certainly get them to engage boat targets during my testing.

@Nick Nape'em - Certainly - the only issue is choosing which ship model to use as the base. The type 42 is quite a distinctive profile and I feel this "type 21" has already taken some liberties!

@rokvam - agreed. That's a feature of the base model hanger being too small unfortunately. Given the Iranian frigate didn't have a flight deck, presumably the "hanger" wasn't designed to store aircraft?

I couldn't get the 20mm guns to fire even with helicopters at close rage it just says aliening with target for ageist.

I like it, but it is dissapointing the helo glitches (graphically) when you move it from hangar to flight deck. Let's hope the Falklands DLC i have heard mentioned, will give us the Westland Wasp or the Lynx.

also doesnt do your orders, missiles the mm38 but will engage with 4,5 inch gun happily
