The skin system isn't exactly easy to replicate, but can't hurt to try.

I can. I just didn't do it when I was modding HL2 in August 2022. I also didn't bother with the sounds, which I might now.

You can take the script from "steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\scripts\weapon_357.txt", change it and make that it loads 8 bullets as the model shows.
