ok, i seen the comment you posted, i'm sorry for starting arguments, i was honestly trying to look for a fight, i apologize
CosmicInterloper  [author] 18 Jul @ 6:46pm
cool, so you know that he would've filed a complaint if he had a problem with it and I have already notified him of this mods existence. you also mentioned "can we stop this argument" then you come back 2 months later to start it again. fuck off.
Grilled Cheese 18 Jul @ 5:28pm
cool, so you ignored the creator two months ago. doesn’t really make it better.
CosmicInterloper  [author] 18 Jul @ 1:45pm
@Grilled Cheese I dont know if you are mentally deficient or anything but that was 2 months ago.
Grilled Cheese 18 Jul @ 2:18am
you got real defensive real fast, man. acting smug and quoting steam rules doesn’t change the fact you ignored the creator. just admit it instead of talking down like you’re in the right
Grilled Cheese 18 Jul @ 2:06am
@CosmicInterloper just get over it
vadiniscool 3 May @ 11:16pm

Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 11:02pm
but alright, we can stop this argument
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 10:45pm
also i was a bit hypocritical but it was just hilarious that you said "your"
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 10:44pm
also sometimes i capitalize, so
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 10:42pm
@CosmicInterloper it was just a joke
CosmicInterloper  [author] 3 Jan @ 7:02pm
"u" "not" "also" "no" - If you know how to use apostrophes, you should know how to capitalize, if you're so smart.
CosmicInterloper  [author] 3 Jan @ 7:00pm
Also talking about keeping it civil when you just went on a rampant insult assault in my comments is hilarious, most hypocritical thing I've seen.
CosmicInterloper  [author] 3 Jan @ 6:59pm
Atleast sqiva13 isn't insecure about his ego Grilled Cheese, and yes, I'll take it down when he posts it on here.
0rak 3 Jan @ 6:22am
stop whining in this guys comments if hes not gonna take it down then he wont
lets just hope that he takes his down when crunchy decides to upload his stuff here
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 6:16am
"you're"
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 6:15am
@CosmicInterloper u say i'm stupid when you can't even know the differences between "your" and "your're"
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 6:01am
@CosmicInterloper not my stupid!
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 6:00am
@CosmicInterloper also you use your wrong, lmao. u supposed to use you're
0rak 3 Jan @ 5:50am
you are gonna take this down once crunchy uploads all his mods to the workshop right
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 5:49am
no need to make this personal or disrespectful. this is just about respecting creators and their wishes. if u can’t keep it civil, there’s nothing else to say
CosmicInterloper  [author] 3 Jan @ 5:44am
A small port isn't gonna collapse a community like 9/11, your stupid as hell.
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 5:26am
u may believe that valve’s lack of explicit restrictions permits your actions, but the original creator’s terms still matter to the community and the spirit of modding etiquette. by not obtaining permission, you’re disregarding their stated boundaries, which undermines their rights and efforts as a creator.

crediting is important but doesn't substitute consent. Even if no strict enforcement mechanism exists on the Workshop, respecting the creator's wishes fosters goodwill in the modding community, which benefits everyone. Mods exist because creators voluntarily share their work, trusting others to follow their terms.

If you respect their effort, the right thing to do would be to remove the mod and reach out for explicit permission. It shows integrity and upholds a respectful modding environment.
CosmicInterloper  [author] 3 Jan @ 5:17am
Yet Valve doesn't restrict porting mods across different workshops as an IP if it's respective and unchanged. I don't need direct permissions, all I need are the original steam workshop distributed PUBLIC files from the WORKSHOP to upload them to another workshop for uncredited gain. Even if I port it, the original files will be backtraced to a different addons page (the original) and will add a subscribe count and visitor count to that IF the port is subscribed or viewed.
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 5:14am
just because you linked credits, doesn't mean u have permission to upload it
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 5:11am
"that user did not request permission to do so."

thats literately what he said, so
CosmicInterloper  [author] 3 Jan @ 4:58am
Steam Workshop doesn't have a privacy system for porting modifications to third party websites or onto other Workshops, It's all a goodwill system, and since he still hasn't ported it to HL2 even though multiple people have asked him so, I did the work for him, and linked the credits to him.
Grilled Cheese 3 Jan @ 4:06am
the creator of the original said you can't upload dis without his permission, so i recommend to take this down
0rak 3 Jan @ 12:30am
anyways you could always just use gmpublisher or the gmod gma exe to extract the files
0rak 3 Jan @ 12:28am
but its not exactly yours
Gallant 26 Dec, 2024 @ 1:45pm
ok
CosmicInterloper  [author] 26 Dec, 2024 @ 1:22pm

Mookieee 9 Dec, 2024 @ 9:22pm
violence_hblood and other relative commands are set to 1 and still does not work, tried switching hl2 to ep2 to see if any fix but no
CosmicInterloper  [author] 24 Nov, 2024 @ 9:55am
do you have violence_hblood on 0 in console?
Average 19 Nov, 2024 @ 6:11pm
alright, thanks!
CosmicInterloper  [author] 19 Nov, 2024 @ 2:43pm
if i have the time
Average 19 Nov, 2024 @ 1:57pm
if possible, can you port Crunchy's Subscriber Blood Overhaul 2.0 over to HL2?
Valorin 19 Nov, 2024 @ 6:48am
Also, I have impact decals on ragdolls only. Like, killing combine, or anything really, they always go down clean and only if I shoot them some more I actually see bullet hole decals on them.
This is not only happening with this mod, but with any mod so far. I tried to change enemy models, but no dice.
Any ideas?
Valorin 18 Nov, 2024 @ 9:27pm
Best one so far!
Other blood mods I tried left only very small impact wounds on combine. At least on the models I tried. This mod has better ones and thus wins. :)
