Can you give the 2*GBU-10 loadout a laser pod? It's a pain in the ass to require another aircraft lasering the target because I think the GBU-10 is the best bomb in the game.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3364062157 so, I tried it again, and F-14s still can't fire more than one phoenix at once, fun thing, it happens with F-14B and AIM-54C during this mission. Now the fun part: If you do this mission with vanilla Tomcats, you have F-14A with AIM-54A and within 50 nm multiple engagements work perfectly like Triassic intended it, but with Tomcat-Loadouts, you have F-14B with AIM-54C and then, these Tomcats are unable to engage more than one target with AIM-54C at once. Either I am dumb [definitively a possibility ;) ] or you still have problems with your mod. Either way, I would appreciate it, if you can fix this or tell me, what I'm doing wrong.

Fixed, totally forgot about the vanilla F-14 using a different method to limit the AIM-7s SARH channels

I really like the additional loadouts, but you need to urgently address the problems with the multiple weapon channels for AIM-54C on F-14B. At the moment, it's not possible to engage more than one target at once with Phoenix, so unfortunately, I need to stick with the vanilla loadouts, because these problems are hard limiting the F-14s capabilities. If you get this fixed, I am very happy to try it again

Yes F-14B(1990) is from NTU.

F-14B(1990) is probably from NTU, not my mod. Probably wont change the radar but I can see if I can add a visual sensor to the targeting pod

Also, can you make F-14B's radar capable of surface search? Now it has extensive strike armaments but very limited ability to find targets on the ground, which can cause some awkward situations.

You mean 2 Phoenixes and one Sparrow on the belly, plus 2 sidewinders and 2 sparrows on the wing stations? If so, that loadout is sadly not possible ingame because of how the mesh for the Phoenix pallets is built, its either all 4 or none.

Only thing possible would be 3-4 Sparrows on the Belly and 2 Phoenixes on the wings

Perhaps create loadouts like the Intercept and Intercept Heavy, just replacing the AIM-54A with C or D variants

Could you perhaps replace the AIM-54A on the F-14A with the AIM-54 C or D? Perhaps as an additional non-historical Loadout. I’m just fed up with bandits decoying my AIM-54s.

Thats weird, but sounds like another mod you have is overwriting the file. Try moving this mod to the top of the load order

@simi128 the mod should be mostly compatible with NTU, although you wont get the new weapons that mod adds (AIM-9M and AIM-54C). Also no F-14B on the 89 Nimitz
Wouldnt want to use it with White Sands though, both my mod and it edit much of the same files

Cant replicate the AIM-7 thing, if I just click on a target, only the lead aircraft engages for me, while clicking with a weapon selected correctly fires only that weapon on every aircraft of the formation

this mod makes the F14 armed with 6 sparrows and 2 Aim 9 fires aim 9 first , if i put 4 ship formation in the air with this load-out , the lead ship tends to go first with Aim9 which weird because other aircraft goes first with Aim 7 .
i will investigate the issue more and come back

I hope someone dumb downed the Iranian F-4 and F-14's as they did not have the same avionics package as the US Navy or that of the US Air Force F-4's. They should not be on PAR with US Forces... according to JANES.
