lawn mower
to actual big huge scary building sized tank tracks ?
I really appreciate it, sorry for being a pain in the ass
C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\AirshipsGame\steam
That is the "steam" folder I was talking about. That holds the steam mods you can copy and paste into the mods folder.
If your talking about
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Airships Conquer the Skies\mods
I tried that but it was still corrupted-like, I also tried
C:\Users\ethan\AppData\Roaming\AirshipsGame\mods
But i got the same result
P.S there is no other mods in either the mod folders and i even tried moving the mod folder to a different spot in the airships data it still wouldn't help
Okay, so.
You're supposed to look for the mod in the "steam" folder for Airships. I forgot to tell you that.
Copy and paste that mod into the empty "mods" folder.
Then, you can go into that folder and edit the module to your own whim.
If you still struggle to go about this, perhaps I could stream the whole process to you on Discord at a time that we're both online!
I was just wondering if there was a way to reduce the Propulsion by about 65%ish (Or similar) so they are more balanced and easier to work with and fit in more.
-Update-
I tried messing around with "export to file" but that also didn't help much as when I attempted to open the Tiny Tracks file (using notepad as it normally works and i don't have any other options) it was like this......
Tracks/generated/PK ,m†Y # j Tiny Tracks/generated/fragments.txtPK ,m†YŸY& & ½ Tiny Tracks/generated/ssb_checksum.txtPK ,m†YJꫧ @ - & Tiny Ww Tiny Tracks/generated/tinywheelsDAWN.pngPK ,m†YvßËeƒ ' |
(This is the most section coherent it got)
I tried searching through the file and made sure to use the word search but it could not find anything named "Propulsion" or similar with the nearest word it and I could find was "Properties".
It says the "mods" folder is empty but I can use all my mods including Tiny Tracks
PS- I'm sorry for being a pain in the *** this is weird for me too as i have experience with mods when it comes to things like ModDB and GameBannana and are comfortable snooping around files and changing numbers from my time playing JPOG
Oh, I forgot you can't search it conventionally.
Hold the Windows button + R; that's Windows + R
Type in %APPDATA%
Press enter/OK
Then you will find the Appdata folder, where the AirshipsGame folder is kept.
(keep in mind I'm not new to navigating files and I'm used to downloading mods and files to steam games)
You can actually do this yourself! It's very easy.
Look into this folder:
C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\AirshipsGame\mods\TinyTracks\ModuleType
Then change the "Propulsion" stats of the tracks to your liking.
I'm sorry to offload the burden to you like this, but if you want, I can provide more info.

they are WAY too fast and if you can AT LEAST half the speed (preferably more) that would be awesome as they ram into each other when there multiple on the battlefield and basically teleport from A to B while in map mode with how fast they are.
Please

Oh wait that's the battle of the Somme.
