@inksans230 After doing some testing, it seems the 1% is just a result of the low catch rate (since I also tried chrome tapes and they gave 3%), and lowering Morgante’s health doesn’t seem to increase it. If I end up making an update in the future, I’ll remember to increase the catch rate to make up for it. If you’re okay with using the console, installing Debug Plus and using the command “give_aa_tape oldgante” will also spawn it in.

For some reason Morgante (wounded)'s record chance is locked at 1%, no matter what I do. Is this normal?

@NekoNya The Debug menu mod uses internal names for archangels. Gwenivar is 'clown', so try that.

when you try to give the archangel tape gwenivar with the command doesnt work, it says gwenivar is not an valid archangel tape.

@Warioman Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce the issue on my end. My only other guess is that another mod may be conflicting with it? Try testing if Recordable Archangels works as the only mod installed and if it still doesn't work, feel free to add me so we can test things more in-depth.

Tried again still nothing. Could it be because of the recently update?

@Warioman Recording being stuck at 0% happens when using 'Record Anything' on its own, so make sure both are installed. That should fix it, but let me know if it's still not working.

I keep trying to record any I come across and have the other mod linked here and no matter how much I weaken them and how many optical tapes I throw at them it stays 0%

@Grimmy which boss was it? I'll see if I can look into it. It's possible that you aren't able to record the boss due to other unrecordable things in the fight. If that's the case, try using the 'Record Anything' mod mentioned in the 'Known Issues' part of this mod's description and hopefully that might work.

I have the Boss Reply mod installed, along with this mod, and the Record button isn't coming up for me while fighting a previously-fought Archangel boss.

@bethgreen2010 Unfortunately adding custom items is outside the scope of the mod, as I'd rather not complicate saves with extra data. I was actually intending the optical laser tape to kind of fill the function of a 'specialised archangel tape' since I found there was never much of a reason to use them otherwise (especially now since the gauntlet lets you get them much more easily).

@Dan appreciated I also noticed that the rates are extremely low is there ever gonna be something like a specialized tape for archangels that's hard to get to be added because well I think it'd be interesting if after you defeat an archangel for the first time you get like 5 of tapes that would give you pretty good chances for getting an archangel, maybe after beating Aleph null in the story you can make them with fusion material?

is the record anything mod gonna be available on steam? I can't seem to find it yet.

@Infernis11 Unfortunately the mod has issues with Poppetox specifically. To fix this, try using the 'Record Anything' mod mentioned in the 'Known Issues' part of this mod's description.

yeah so um it doesn't work when I fought poppetox the record button was unavailable to me do you know why thats happening?
