I was GOING to say the same thing others have: how this cosmetic turns the hat (and head) into just a blob of colour, but after seeing the video I think it works quite well.
What you absolutely MUST do is include some in-game pictures displaying how the effect fades at further distances, because videos are weird on Steam and most people don't look at them. I guarantee a lot more people would be on-board if they saw how unobtrusive it actually was.

@Danfault the whole hologram part has a range so it shouldnt fuck with gameplay you have to be pretty close to see it but there is the outline/rim light so u can still tell the class and hat pretty well i would say also thx

i do really like it and i think its cool, but having ht entire hat and even the entire player head morph into something really different and bright does look strange. if it was like periodic like scan-lines(?) where it occasionally warps and changed colour a bit i think that would be more acceptable rather than the whole hat basically becoming something else.
that said there is obviously a lot of care put into this.

It looks great, really but, I think effects should be separate from the model for the sake of keeping it not so ridiculous. Sadly a pass from me.

As a suggestion, maybe make the blue version slightly less white (to make it bluer) and turn down the brightness a bit? It seems disproportionately bright compared to RED

I don't know if it intentional or not but I also like that eyes are glowing with this effect. The whole concept is pretty unique in matter of contacting with hats and utilize hologram shtick that was used fairly before in really eye-opening way. Good job.

I hate how unusual effects are now "limited edition" so we'll only be able to get this on a handful of maybe 5 hats in one case, excluding the couple weeks where all cases can have a chance of getting it. Still won't be able to get it on craftable hats sadly

@[O&O]YaboiDucki it uses position on model which is whats used on the taunts that are on your body like spellbound aspect but it takes the position of your hat from a hitbox. The hitbox is not perfect thats why it may not work perfectly after it takes the position of your hat it will refract it and use some vmt shenanigans even i dont understand to make the effect fit the shape of your hat if you want more indepth explanation on the second part you can contact enigmus they are the one that found this tech its used in their unusual "iconic outline" and also the hologram has a distance so from a far away u cant see it to compensate i added in a glow that u can only see from a far too the range on the hologram is around 64 hmu around the size of a player if you laid them on the floor if you have any questions please add me on steam i am happy to anwser your questions!
