ashmajer - Glad you got going. I have seen it before with Steam and downloading. When all else fails, sometimes it works. No idea why/how but it happens.

i was not using other mods... however after uninstalling both RT56 and this and reinstalling.. fixed

ashmajer - are you using other mods also? If so, turn them all off except R56 and mine, see if that 'unlocks' things. If it does, then you know another mod is causing the conflict. If it doesn't work, you may have a game or mod that Steam did not update? Try the Verify for HOI IV in steam, un-sub and re-sub this mod & R56,

ashmajer - I did 'Option verify' on my HOI IV v1.16.9 and all verified. I unsubscribed and resubscribed to R56, live Steam version of July 7, and started a game again. No locked slots at all. I cannot find any issue. Not even amphibeous tanks have any locked slots.

i did the same and for some reason the second line of slots are all showing as locked

ashmajer - What seems to be the issue? I just started a new game with only R56 and this mod and it looks fine.

i think this might need an update not working for me since the RT56 update on the 7th

Use GSP's Tank Slots for PB for Pax Britannica.
Use GSP's Tank Slots for MD for Millennium Dawn.
Use GSP's Tank Slots for ETT60 for Extended Tech Tree 1960.
Use GSP's Tank Slots for UTTNH for UTTNH_2.0 or Ultimate Tech Tree.
Use GSP's Tank Slots for KR for Kaiserreich.
Use GSP's Tank Slots for EaW for Equestria at War.

Adds another row of available module slots in the Tank Designer. Lets you load up your tanks with all the extra goodies. Watch the cost go up and the reliability go down.....

joshelam5 - Thanks for the love, no plans for doing plane designer, but I do have a mod for Carriers - "GSP's Baby Flat Tops" that has Escort, Light, and Fleet Carriers with upgraded plane capacities.

Updated after Paradox v1.15.2 patch and Road to 56 December 2024 Updates.

Have now done a clean re-install of base game, RT56 and this mod and still the second line is showing up locked for me... somebody help or is this a dead thread already?

Hi, I reinstalled the mod, it didnt help. Opened up the mod location and seen two files, a z_tank_chassis.txt and a tank_chassis.txt, also had a folder named \replace with a copy of tank_chassis.txt in it. When I unsubscribed, the z_tank_chassis.txt file would persist. So I deleted the mod folder specific to this mod after I unsubscribed. Then resubscribed for a fresh download, the mod is now working correctly for me. Must have had a early or glitched version.

I cannot reproduce the 'reverts back' issue with the current R56 and mod. Art, AA, and TD all seem to work and save properly - note the screen caps for German and USA variants.

Please verify you have the updated game version and the updated Road to 56 version.

Even after selecting Tank Destroyer, it reverts back into a medium tank after saving

The role keeps reverting back to medium tank if i try to save or edit any designs.

Yohoho, you can, if you use the correct turret and gun combination (the same as vanilla), the mod does not change the turret/gun requirements for AA, Art, etc.

Like the mod, just can't make roles for tanks like AA, Art, tank destroyer.
