Hi, if anybody is still out there. I took the liberty of updating the mod myself for it to work with latest update, no other changes were made other than restructuring the music. I hope that the authors are okay with that. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3163523916

May the 1356 team implement some of these tracks into our mod? Personally have listen to these tracks for years and would love to integrate some into the mod!
SuperCoolDude 12 Oct, 2021 @ 4:25pm
Nothing MEIOU and Taxes related is Ironman compatible
smallsaye 11 Oct, 2021 @ 8:06pm
is this ironman compatible

No need to rename anything there, just extract the .rar file directly into your mod folder and it'll work automatically :)
Manual mod installations work differently from Steam mod installation in that way.
schiekirka 24 Nov, 2017 @ 12:16am
hey, will you upgrate ist for 1.23?
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 2 Oct, 2017 @ 4:27pm
Fair enough lol. I hope you enjoy the mod! I've been busy with school but I'd love to write more music for it in the future.
wildbillhdmax01 2 Oct, 2017 @ 4:26pm
Already went in and edited the file. lol :D
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 2 Oct, 2017 @ 4:25pm
Ignore the fact that the version is out of date - the music doesn't interact with any other aspects of the code and is highly modular. It should work even if set to version 1.0.
wildbillhdmax01 2 Oct, 2017 @ 4:21pm
Will do.
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 2 Oct, 2017 @ 4:00pm
Try the Dropbox version.
It should definitely work with vanilla, as I use it when I play and I do not play M&T myself.

Yea I can't get this mod to work. I'm not playing with MEIOU, is that the problem? Can I use this with vanilla?
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 21 Sep, 2017 @ 11:34am
I've been able to kind of narrow down some of the issues that some people have been having with the mod.
Seems that for some people the Steam release doesn't work but the dropbox link on the Paradox forums does. Tonight I plan on going through and making sure the Dropbox link is actually up to date and then I'll post it here for anyone who can't get the Steam version to work.
Desucrate 21 Sep, 2017 @ 11:21am
yes, this works standalone
sus 21 Sep, 2017 @ 6:26am
can i play it without enabled mod (i mean meiou and taxes)
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 11 Aug, 2017 @ 9:55am
Thanks for the heads up ELITEGAM3R15, I'll test out that fix for the remaster release.
jordan 11 Aug, 2017 @ 9:35am
Hi, I think I found the issue with people not being able to use the music. I changed some things, and im not quite sure which fixes it, but do these anyways.
1. go to the file and change Music to music
2.go to music file and change aswmmmusic.asset to aswmmsongs.asset
I hope this works for you, it most likely will, since it worked for me. Make sure to fix this next time.
Desucrate 17 Jul, 2017 @ 4:55pm
very odd :(
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 17 Jul, 2017 @ 4:40am
As far as I'm aware, DLCs shouldn't conflict with this mod. I wrote the code in a way that specifically makes it compatible with other music mods as well.
Desucrate 16 Jul, 2017 @ 11:37pm
thanks :) I have nearly all the dlc, but not all the music packs, and no music mods other than this one. I can verify that it's downloaded and enabled
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 7:35pm
I am quite inept but I will do my best to help :)
Desucrate 16 Jul, 2017 @ 6:06pm
Well, is it alright for you to spare a moment to help me troubleshoot? :)
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 15 Jul, 2017 @ 4:12pm
That's a fair point considering I have the whole soundtrack on Soundcloud :)
But this allows for integration with other music mods and the vanilla soundtrack, for those who wish to do so.
Rem wake up 14 Jul, 2017 @ 7:03pm
you could also just turn on soundcloud while playing the game, just saying
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 13 Jul, 2017 @ 7:07pm
That's odd - I'm sorry you're having issues.
Desucrate 13 Jul, 2017 @ 6:42pm
Still not seeing the tracks, even after updating :thonking:
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 13 Jul, 2017 @ 9:58am
Updated for 1.22.*.*!
Sorry about the delay if any of the game's updates and expansions were causing problems :)
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 9 Jul, 2017 @ 4:00pm
You're welcome! Stay tuned for updated versions of the existing songs :)
Desucrate 9 Jul, 2017 @ 3:39pm
That's exactly what I was hoping it would be! I love the M&T soundtrack, even more than the vanilla one, but M&T is a bit complicated for me to learn right now. Thanks for the help :D
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 9 Jul, 2017 @ 2:24pm
Hi Desucrate! This mod is designed to be a standalone for users who want to hear the music outside of M&T. Everything here is also within M&T and I still actively coordinate updates with the team :)
Desucrate 9 Jul, 2017 @ 2:02pm
I'm not completely sure what the purpose of this mod is. Does this add more tracks to M&T users?
RESQUART 7 Jul, 2017 @ 8:54am
thank u :)
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 6 Jul, 2017 @ 4:30pm
Will do as soon as I am able. I'm currently out of state without access to my main pc. I'm also planning on doing a remaster of the entire soundtrack before the end of summer so there's that to look forward to as well :)
RESQUART 6 Jul, 2017 @ 1:42am
Please update mod bro :) (1.22.1.0) thx man
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 30 Jun, 2017 @ 4:20pm
That's odd - as far as I'm know, I haven't removed any of the linkes.
susannag 30 Jun, 2017 @ 9:58am
Getting a lot of "this track has been removed" notices on those links.
SuperCoolDude 16 May, 2017 @ 8:11pm
I have just confirmed mstrahl's recommendation, the game finally has all music playable from your mod.

Confirmed working in M&T 2.0, just change the "supported_version" line in the .mod file to 1.21.xx
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 21 Apr, 2017 @ 8:16pm
That could potentially explain why I have no issues with my local copy. Thank you for the experimentation!
As for uploading an unzipped file, you are correct in that I cannot upload such a thing through Steam - however, I had a link to a Dropbox link that should serve as a workaround that I will be re-adding(tbh I don't know when it vanished....)
corv1313 21 Apr, 2017 @ 4:10pm
Hey, I was having the same problems with this mod as everyone else, but I messed with the file and got it to work. All I did was make a copy (to prevent Steam from reverting my changes), and then, within the copy, I unzipped the mod folder. I opened the ".mod" file and deleted ".zip" from the archive path, renamed the mod (so I could tell the difference between the two copies), and boom, it works.

You probably can't upload an unzipped file, but I wanted to let you know that did the trick. It's weird, because I have other music mods that work when they're zipped, but this one only works when it's unzipped for me. Could this be a clue as to the source of the problem? I've made my own mods but I've never uploaded any of them so I don't know if you know things that I don't about the way the system works.
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 3 Apr, 2017 @ 12:21pm
I honestly still have no idea how to fix the problems that some people are having.
Locally, it functions in my game(even though the version is out of date), apart from the music player basically ditching my functions that made certain songs play during certain conditions.
I wish I could be more helpful but I'm stumped.
Robotx2300 1 Apr, 2017 @ 10:01pm
Any status on the problem? I thought that maybe the localization just needed to be renamed to register the songs, but no dice. I really love this soundtrack and i'd love to see it work.
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 8 Jan, 2017 @ 2:12pm
Yeah the music player they added in has been messing with all the various music addons.
lagoon 8 Jan, 2017 @ 10:44am
For some reason all this mod does is move my Sabaton DLC music to the very front of the music queue.
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 31 Dec, 2016 @ 3:02pm
:)
Fulca 31 Dec, 2016 @ 2:59pm
Thank you very much :)
SuperCoolDude 31 Dec, 2016 @ 1:02am
It's in the game with the newest few patches (integrated into base EUIV now), there's a music note on the top right of the screen near the pause button. It's pretty self explanatory once you open it, just click the skip button a few times or manually remove them from the playlist.
Fulca 30 Dec, 2016 @ 8:50pm
There is a music player inside the game ? Or is it something outside the game ?

Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 30 Dec, 2016 @ 7:50pm
I haven't used the music player but presumably there is a "next song" button - hitting that 5 times should theoretically work if such a button exists.
Fulca 30 Dec, 2016 @ 7:47pm
How do you skip the first five songs please ?
Enthusiastically Wrong  [author] 29 Dec, 2016 @ 6:59pm
Ah, thank you for the information!
