I like the idea, though I will say to me it would make more sense for him to where that in later chapters when there's supposedly the chance of his hideout being raided. it would make sense for him to dress like a rebel then as to try and blend in....to make the combines lower ranks think he's just another rebel, and not a scientist/rebel leader in the chaos of the city collapse
