I just noticed that if you lose power, the doors do not work. I had to respawn to get out. Now I cannot get in to retrieve my inventory from my body. Any ideas?

I must be doing something wrong. The truck got stuck on the connector. It looks like the tires are too soft to make it over the connector. I have all systems on. Should I turn off the suspension or make an adjustment?

Okay, I will give it a try. Thank you.

Kelevra, I love the Atlas - MKIII, but as a noob, I am having a terrible time getting it to line up and lock into my floor inset connector. Am I missing something? The block is turn on, but I can never get to lock. Is there something you can offer that can help me?

@Virtualburn this is a game bug. Repasting it in admin mode should help.

Used for a day or so, lovely vehicle - we were on an ice lake so perfect for mining a load of Ice before our big move. After loading it up it only moves forwards and backwards... If I try to turn left or right it just brakes.

Everything is turned on, not sure what changed.

@Vaygrim It is literally the first shot/video in the bp-gallery up there explaining the whole rover, all its features AND showing the interior. ;)
Vaygrim 15 Feb @ 5:33pm
Not a single shot or video clip of what the *inside* looks like?

@LewdMaster This is a gamee bug. Try pasting it in again, this usually works.

For some reason, it only moves forward and backward, when the wheels turn, it stops and does not move. Maybe I'm pressing something wrong.

@nightfaller that could be wheels contacting another part of the build, haven tested this yet but it happens with some other builds ive seen, and can change with mods that affect the wheels.
nightfaller 27 Nov, 2024 @ 8:29am
@Kelevra yeah immediately after i sent the message it worked fine. clang must have been trolling
thanks for the design tho, handles very well in-spite the reckless abuse i put it through on the moon did not take much to make on survival only
Kelevra  [author] 27 Nov, 2024 @ 6:02am
@nightfaller, dont know what is causing this. Sounds like a game bug to me. The Rover is optimal at 1g.

@Skye, Dont know what you are talking about. Might be that you have general performance issues. Clang, which includes instablilities of rovers is a limititation in the game engine and can be caused if your system runs at its limits and functionality of subgrids hits in on top. Since wheels on suspensions are asubgrids and the adaptive system quickly changes settings on it, it might be a problem on your end. Everyone i gave it to test it struggelt to to tip it over even on purpose.

@everyone else: Thanks for your comments! <3

To sort a couple of things:

@Locomotor76, this would be mod content, which i dont do.

@TheLostSpartan, i have seen it and also your intervention. Thanks for that. I am collecting the links of these and report them in one from time to time.

@Vernes, what keeps you from mounting a ladder? ;) Also the rover has access point from the outside and H2-generator, if your bottle is empty.

@Alienicon, it is me causing double PCU from a projection in the base blueprint vs. you having the option to add it yourself if wanted.
Skye 27 Nov, 2024 @ 5:00am
It's a neat rover but under-performs and isn't particularly stable when I take it to rover test maps.
nightfaller 27 Nov, 2024 @ 2:58am
hey i noticed when i steer with this on the moon most of the wheels brake, i have all of the systems on was wondering if you know whats causing the wheels to brake every time i try to steer
madmo110 26 Nov, 2024 @ 2:32pm
I have to admit you guys took an amazing design and kept perfecting it. Bravo!
Grebanton1234 26 Nov, 2024 @ 2:21pm
Awesome rover. I really like how many functions you were able to fit in it. It's really immersive and perfect for a scenario for example.
Alienicon 26 Nov, 2024 @ 1:20pm
Not practical at all. Super cool though. But nothing i would use in a survival game. Too prone to breaking and too hard to fix.
Vernes 26 Nov, 2024 @ 11:42am
Cool design, but it would be slightly better if you can enter the rover even when your h2 ran out.
CONS 26 Nov, 2024 @ 8:22am
cool!
TheLostSpartan 26 Nov, 2024 @ 6:09am
Not sure how you want to handle it, but someone posted your original Atlas Truck (slightly modified), without any kind of credit or link to the original. I left him a message a few days ago with a link to yours, but it's been ignored.

Phoenix 25 Nov, 2024 @ 7:11pm
Incredible design. Wonderful work as always o7
jivaii 25 Nov, 2024 @ 6:35pm
Any chance of getting this as a respawn rover?
