That's outside the scope of what this mod does, but it would in theory be possible with some Harmony patches.

Also I was under the impression that the shared names weren't indicative of descent but just that they happen to share a name that might have been common in their time (or perhaps the name itself is an epithet for royalty as was often the case with Egyptian pharaohs who shared 'names').

Cool mod! Do you by any chance know how to configure it so sultans can't share the same name? Correct me if I'm wrong, but in my understanding the sultanate is not a monarchy, hence the high likelihood of sultans inheriting their predecessor's name (followed by a regnal number) has never made sense to me.
