Starbounds NPCs are just weird. as for the not being able to talk to NPCs issue, i cant replicate it. even before, when guards still used to attack the player, i was able to talk to NPCs normally. they just ran away for a bit when a guard aggros, but otherwise were able to be talked to once no one was angry at me. now with guards being chill i can talk to them normally all the time get quests and trade with them.

yeah after some more testing some guard types are now not attack-able, i go to a human village and i can attack them, i go to a glitch village and i cant. I have no idea whats causing this because they both use the same NPC-type. ill look for a fix

Fixed the guards attacking player issue

This would be really cool if everyone wasn't always aggressive towards you. If you could fix that, I'd love this mod with all my heart, but as it is, it makes the game sorta unplayable.

So npcs with weapon will start attacking player?

Works pretty well if you want to be a galactic threat. Kind of breaks the game since every NPC treats you as a hostile before you attack them. :steammocking:

was doing that to most npcs using flamethrowers and wildfire
now it will be even easier
no avians will run from me
