A lot of people say this map reminds them of Warhammer 40k or Devil May Cry, but it also reminds me of an old movie called "Dark City" that came out in the 90s. With a general decrepit early 20th century feel but with bits of newer and older eras thrown in.

This map is a masterpiece, medieval Gothic, poverty and some steampunk notes! I really like it, it looks cool, gloomy and immerses in this atmosphere. But if you have a description of what kind of castle it is and who it belongs to, then tell me, I want to know the history of this map.

this map somehow screams the inspiration from the game "Kingpin: Life of Crime" game. Does any of u guys find the resemblance? I thought i was walking around a personal take upon remaking Kingpin: Life of Crime lol

That giant demonic stone face at the entrance of the tower scared the hell out of me. I was climbing the staircase, saw it, and jumped in fear. I have a phobia of statues and statue-like sculptures.

Once, when I was a child, I was deep downtown, high up on one of the top floors of a building. I looked out the window of the office and saw something terrifying… On the rooftop of the building next door, there was a massive fountain shaped like a giant stone lion’s face. I was absolutely horrified. Ever since then, that has been my phobia.

This map is great. I would like to ask if I can use this for my Gmod Animation Series. This map is optimized, has the vibe I'm looking for and with some light work + skybox change in-game, this map can turn into morning, afternoon and night.

I would love to see a version of this map that takes place during a time where the castle/kingdom was still in its prime, before the modernization... before the mismanagement and the disrepair

@Nylotep Yep feel free, just publish it unlisted. But something i must warn you is that i had to cease development due to hitting various engine limits because of the size of it, so honestly good luck You can counter those by not using func_detail, do props or other entities instead, and there's this "texinfo" limit, meaning you'll have to be very economic about textured faces coordinates, other than that go on with it

Wow, a great assortment of different urban environments. We got (not direct quotes but the FEEL of) Ravenholm, the Shivering Isles, Arx Fatalis, Deus Ex, more; all kinds of old school gaming nostalgia and I am lovin it!!

This map looks like a place I would see in my nightmares. It's very odd, it's like many of the areas in the map are from different dreams and they all converge together to create this eerie city

@jaborbis Thanks for pointing out, my apologies for the inconvenience, i only tested doors with normal NPCs and they do interact with them so i assumed bots would do the same, i'll se what i can do for the next update shortly

@A_Christmas_Tree Hi, on the (old)server browser window you can search by map, doing a quick search i found some but most are private. There is one running it as Hide and Seek with active players at this moment.
I'm not sponsored by any server and created this by myself for the community and anyone willing to run it, so i'm not aware of the wide server scene reception of it, they usually stick to the old classics only anyway, but feel free to recommend it to admins to see if it catches on :) Thanks for playing
