I had a ring drop with the living weapon property, but even if it could get experience it could never level up and receive extra abilities.

As soon as i realise no xp for wepn from spells kills is logical, how about adding an option to turn it on if someone(like me kekw) wish in config?

Hi panda, I was trying to install this mod but seems like living weapon isnt spawning for me and also theres no config files in BepInEx/config. any idea what could cause this?

Even though I changed the experience gain to true, I couldn't use spells to accumulate experience points
The weapon test was a fist, a stick, and a scythe, and the auto-battle was a mage, in which case no experience was gained for killing enemies
Experience points are only accumulated when I kill an enemy directly with my weapon

Thanks for the continued hard work! Living Weapons were one of my favorite aspects in Elona/E+. There was only one slight problem. Idk if it was fixed (I stopped playing for a bit and got back into it recently) or if it's unfixable due to the source code, but I can't tell the difference between a Magic attribute boost and a magic elemental damage modifier. IIRC, they are both simply referred to as "Magic".

Abosrb Life enchant is currently not used in source code so it's not functioning yet

No one should alter balance of their mod to account for another...its up to YOU to balance it if you want too.

Sorry for double post, I did figure out what I needed to do. Resubbing didn't help, but editing the file helped. It looks like there's some sort of leak of data, perhaps your code might be missing a key closing comma or something? All living items would fail to grow after I'd gotten one or two items a few levels.

So even after unsubbing, deleting the config file, and resubbing, I still get the blank menu when choosing growth for the living weapons. Is there something else that needs to be done?

I wish there was an rare item that could make a regular weapon into a living one
