Im fine with this as is, we are not sniper elite folks. We are a fast paced run and gun at mostly close range. Modders would have to go out of their way to make real sniper actions within a map made for true long range

This guy was able to create a mod of john wick's magazine fed shotgun, So I don't think it would be a problem for him to make a variant for the shotgun slot.

Technically, that weapon is a shotgun, developed for the sniper slot, because game code does not allow for a mag-fed shotgun under normal settings.
