Wow didn't realize this would get popular heh.
Great ideas! I'll see what I can cook up.

@spartan1096 You know that would be interesting. If you could swap between the three (energy credits, influence, unity) depending one the government type you have chosen. Examples: Democracies swapping Unity for Influence or Dictatorial swapping Influence for Unity or Megacorps swapping Energy Credits for Influence

finally i can play as a corrupt 3rd world country in space

This is funny, because it feels like practically this is your government bribing people every month to gain influence.
spartan1096 9 Dec, 2024 @ 10:23pm
this is really a godsend, though unity for influence would be more immersive IMO

FINNNNNNNNNNNNNNALLY no longer am I bound by an arbitrary notion of "you're not popular enough to expand into this star system yet" you good sir are amazing!

Finally, corruption in Stellaris

Let me know as you play if you think it needs better balance. I figured this was a more fair exchange than the bulk pay for influence schemes of other mods that appeared wildly imbalanced. At least you can run this for a few months or during a war, to try to get ahead on the expansion game and finish off those empires that really don't deserve a 10 year truce before the inevitable.
