Is there a way to disable drone messages in chat? The system notifications about drone initialization tends to pull my players out of the experience a bit.

The mod is excellent, but it doesn’t allow you to use it in multiplayer, it’s not signed with a key.

The drone AI in this mod is not a threat. As long as my tank escapes at full speed, I will 100% escape. Obviously, the AI ​​drone cannot effectively keep up with my real-time position

Hey, cool mod! But it doesn't seem to work with the Arma 3 Performance Extension {LINK REMOVED}. With it, the drones just hover over the units and do nothing. Disabling the extension helps.

Even with zeus, it hovers above target, that even shoots at it,

maybe write some logic so AI ignores drones much more , there are scripts and mods for that
also if you are using ai mods, I can't help with that, by default they should not be that precise

however!!

this is limitation of arma 3 engine, you really don't have control over the flight of the drone. If you set the position by code you really don't have control over the drone itself.


what you could do it to just scale all distances (AttackDistance2D*ScaleFactor, AttackDistance* ScaleFactor) and put even bigger explosive on the drone. Like try to use CustomAmmo asi:

"SatchelCharge_Remote_Ammo, SatchelCharge_Remote_Ammo, SatchelCharge_Remote_Ammo, SatchelCharge_Remote_Ammo, SatchelCharge_Remote_Ammo" or something like that, that will make explosive very big, drone will not be that precise but will do a lot of damage
what's the difference between attack distance, horizontal attack distance and final attack height? it seems like horizontal attack distance and final attack height change the distance of drone explosion but not what they supposed to change.
also in all my attemts I couldn't find a way to set the settings for drone to sucessfully attack the vehicle that moves at speed of 10 km/h, the drone just follows it infinitely, could you help me?

ok once again I've tried to do absolutely clean mission without any mods and I can confirm it works

I must note
there are two types of drones:

anti-personel
anti-tank

there is a switch and one more setting which defines what kind of units drones will attack

can somebody of you write me on a steamchat or send me here some link so I can reproduce the issue?

Same as the others. Drones explode if you get close to them on the ground, but otherwise they just hover over the target.

Hello. I found the ArmA 3 Constructor mod that contains your module, but it's an old version. I tried to do it with it, but the drones still don't fly or fall. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Could you make a short video on how to do it correctly? Thanks...

I installed the module, synchronized it with the drone. It just hangs over the target, doesn't fly after the target, doesn't attack. When the height is right for an attack, it just falls down, not on the target...

well they are not totally autonomous, you still have to control them somehow (zeus), they just have targeting ability

Drones don't fly at all, they just fall when there is enough height for an attack...

It's an interesting idea but so far drone speed is to slow and they get shot down as a result (tested it on RHS bmp 2 with infantry).

Friend, make the module spawn drones at the point of placement of the module at some height with the possibility of choosing the number and time. There is also a problem with the fact that after the fall of the 1st drone, the module stops checking for the presence of other enemies.

Hi, is this mod only working in arma commander mode? Becaus for me your mod is absolutely not working! I tried now for 2 days. Like written above they are approaching but tehn only dancing around the enemy (Blufor) but not attacking. I used RTS Zeus and Drongo Map Population Mod.

@dims123 you actually have to control drones a bit, they only start to purse target when it's close to some target

@lazy brick they actually do conflict, what ai mods are you using? this happens sometimes with RTS mod

_mickey_ that's actually not that easy when you count limitations of the engine, although try to play with parameters

Can you help me? The enemy drone isn’t moving, even though I believe I’ve set everything up correctly. When I join the game, it shows that the drone didn’t initialize: “0 by alpha1:1.”
