I ran my python script to update the province ids but it appears there are problems with textures as well now, and locators as per always. Basically it's more work than I'm willing to put in while not playing ck3. So ya'll gotta either downgrade to 1.16.1 or learn how to mod and take over the mod, sorry, love u

@ecwc085 I tested in observe and also had a realm type change happen after a few years although he became a "host" realm. I wasn't aware that they'd introduced a freehold mechanism but I'll look into it when I find the time.

Hi, I don't know why,

but seems like after a few expansion war, freehold becomes feudal after they conquer a feudal land,

and if player holds a noble house title but loses all duchies they will lose noble house title, and basically become a bugged character without any title.

Now that the main AGOT mod has introduced added freehold mechanism would it be more compatible to reference their succession?

@Sev the Meme Wizard there will never be compatibility with Legacy of Valyria. They are separate valyria mods that make separate models and terrain for the same area. COW is possible to make a compatch for, but as of right now it is not planned.

Okay I fixed stuff until it worked for me, so it should run now hopefully. I also changed the freehold faith to allow sibling marriages. Let me know if anything gamebreaking is taking place and I'll try my best to fix it.

@Holo-sama Essos expansion merged with the old colonize valyria mod and was made into legacy of valyria, which is a separate valyria mod incompatible with this one.

People be talking like this mod works, so does it? Since the update I've run it with nothing except for AGOT itself and it loads up, but then when I choose a character and load in, it keeps me stuck there on the loading screen (but doesn't crash or freeze) for ever.

@icedpeppi I noticed that it was the default thing with the Fourteen Flames with the AGOT Mod. I am not sure why it was made this way but I am sure it can be fixed with some touch ups regardless.

@aeysasryr That is definitely not intended, we´ll look into it and have that fixed as soon as possible.

You're meant to be able to marry brother and sister with the Valyrians, which is not compatible with the Fourteen Flames faith, can this be fixed?

Okay guys sorry it took a while. I foolishly started working on a new feature without branching so had to untangle some stuff. This update was only to re-number/add province ids to various places and to change to the updated valyrian religion (thanks obama). Also fixed a minor title issue for female children of king/empire-tier freehold rulers.

I didn't test it super thoroughly, just ran it in observe for a few decades, so do let me know if anything gamebreaking is happening and I'll try to get to it.

Great mod. I do have a sugestion, it would be cool to have a bookmark just after the Doom, but before the Targaryens started conquering Westeros. The only downside of this mod is not having more of Essos, beside that great job, I love playing with a intact Valyrian peninsula and love the model for Valyria, congrats

Does the Doom happen and destroy everything as part of this mod? Volcanoes erupt, dragons die horribly etc?

@Italian Republic we got permission before the merge to continue using the old essos map, so there might be something like that in the future. Not as of right now though.

got it working...removed anything with COW in the title. best mod out

none of the building show up in my game.....just land and volcanos.....everything else is working great

@Jking1402 Danjo has a similar issue, unfortunately I've been unable to replicate it. How long approximately after the game starts before you crash, or is it instantly? The way Danjo's explained his issue is he can play for up to 1-2 years before it crashes.
