Updated Blueprint: Internal layout changed and signals added.

@Atriace, I am glad you approve ! Thanks. Yep I am nowhere near as good as you at layouts or decorating.

If I rebuild this I would probably do the internal layout similar to the room access window views in the Orca and I would make it a tad wider (I was worried about the dimensions when I built it and made it narrower in block count than the Hauler) this idea is still soaking in my head and might bear fruit someday.

I wanted a ship that is keen on the eye, but also very practical and with easy fast accessible parts (I am forever running to the med station) It also had to be easy for non builders to adapt, customise, upgrade and grow.

The top hanger door, is not on same sensor but the 2 sensors do link / cascade. The hanger door sensor covers inside and outside movement, whilst the approach lights sensor covers outside only to bring you closer and then 'hand you over' to to hanger sensor' I felt it may feel more sequenced.

Not exactly how I would done it, but that's the beauty of design—variety keeps things interesting!

Your interpretation of the glass canopy as a hangar door is clever! I especially like the guidance effect lights for approaching ships—nice touch. Have you considered linking the sensor for these lights to also open the hangar door? It could streamline functionality.

I did struggle a bit to locate the boarding ramp. One idea might be to enhance automation using logic gates: have the landing gears output a signal to a '4x OR' gate labeled 'Landed.' Then, create a '2x OR' gate using your motion sensor, call it 'OpenBoarding,' and use it to trigger your boarding ramp. That way, the ramp opens either when the ship lands or when someone approaches. It could improve ease of access without compromising your design.

This ship is larger than it initially seems, but you've done a fantastic job providing access to every section for upgrades—well done!

That's what drew me here, too, Atriace. Your Hauler is one of the most beautiful ships I have in my collection. I came here to grab this BP and check it out because it looked like a CV version.

I thought this ship looked familiar. ;)

I’ll check it out when I can. This reminds me that having color schemes for a build would be a good idea.

Fun fact: the original Hauler was based on artwork for a capital class arboreal transport liner. Nice seeing it come back to its roots.
