Please create a minimal repro mission (include ace settings in it) and send it over to my discord "ilbinek" with modset too
The issues are only with Vanila version, that is limited by the arty computer using only high angle of attack. This MLRS does not really have a lot of high angle attack option and is mainly designed to be used with low angle.
The solution is pretty simple, use the advanced version and the arty tables.
The advanced version is the priority for us.

There will be a version mounted on the MT-LB
I've been a fan of your work since I first saw and used the 120mm PM-43. And now there's this, my new favorite toy. It's really satisfying using ACE+TBD, setting everything up from scratch and firing the weapon, eventually hitting your target. The immersion is just top.
I've been experimenting with this workshop item too, trying to see if I could fit it on top of other vehicles. The MLRS without the wheels would be an awesome addition to this mod, as a mountable weapon for different vehicles.
Would there be a chance for such a model to exist?
Kinda shocked I glazed over the postinit being there, but I see how it's laid out now.
It's a global variable, you just add onto the list with the pushbackunique. There's no configs at all in play.
Each of our mortars has it's own unique towing list, which is represented by the name in the format of PREFIX_COMPONENT. For the type 63, the prefix is tbd_type63 and the component is advanced (for the advanced version that supports towing).
Appreciate the response. I will admit to being a bit dense, but I can't find anywhere that it creates the list.
I assume I am just adding this to the vehicle class I intend to find a good towing point for, or am I putting this inside of a new class for the Type 63 and similar TBD_Mortars projects.
Apologies if it is just me being incredibly blind and it is right in front of me.
If you want to engage stuff close by, you need to use direct fire.
All the offsets are stored in a global variable tbd_type_63_advanced_towingList.
it's in style of array `[regexForVehicleClassname,[x, y, z], rotation]`.
So to add a custom vehicle support, for example for RHS Gaz66, you would do something like
tbd_type_63_advanced_towingList pushBackUnique ["rhs_gaz66.*", [-0.02, -2.2, -1.57], -0.367];
The offsets are a bit hard to find.
@Jolly Hanna
eh, probably depends on the mod.
@Mamuel
We don't play with AI, so no idea.
Wanted to know, is there a way I can setup a compatibility for other vehicles than the ones you've listed for towing? I play a lot with 40k mods outside of the setting you've done compats for, and didn't want to have to bother you at all about compat requests.
Looking forward to your next system, and I'm sure a few of the guys I play with will be too.
Версию без ACE возможно нормально использовать только прямой наводкой.
ACE в принципе обязательный для нормального геймплея и функционала станковых орудии, потому что функциионал ваниль Armы по этот теме очень сомнительный
The vanilla one has few mags in it by default.
