I really wish we would protect pygmy fauna more. Pygmy Hippos are endangered, Vaquitas are critically endangered, Pygmy Manatees are unrecognized but most likely endangered, Pygmy Mammoths were a thing until humans hunted them to extinction (granted that was around the Stone Age, but still). Like, c'mon, leave the size-compacted creatures alone.
