I don't see how this Nephryte character is controversial. I searched em' up, they only ever modified one game which yes, the modification in question deviated away from source materials but was their decision ultimately in the end and they do gameplay videos on their YouTube which really isn't controversial. (Probably doesn't help I don't browse social media so half the time I have no idea what people are on about.)
