true ONI modding (in my experience) is largely done with the help of these programs: jetbrains Dotpeek (For viewing/extracting Klei code), Visual Studio (for writing the code for your mods & viewing klei code), Kanimal & Kanim Explorer (for interfacing with klei's unique anim file structure), Spriter (For animating/setting pivot points), and Harmony (A library for mods of unity games.), i guess, if you can count that. However, It is important to note that making custom Duplicant mods is very dissimilar to making other ONI mods. It is far less involved in the code aspect due to Dupery. It is largely just making the sprites/using klei anim stuff and then filling out a little .json file that describes the traits you want your new duplicants to have. To that end, it is worth checking out my mod's file structure as well as the dupery mod's guide to see how it works specifically here

The assets for this mod are left intentionally uncompressed/unobfuscated. You can go to where this mod downloads (should be Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\Steam\the ID number in the url) and look around in the anim folder to see the spritesheets, do be aware that in order to make your own you will need to understand how to work with the kanim format, i think the modsnotincluded discord might be able to help with that

I do play with a number of mods, so there is a good chance it came from something there. I'll check through the player logs, but it might be nothing on your end. I'll let you know if I see something specific there that indicates it comes from this, but you're probably right, more likely to come from Dupery Fixed if anything.

Though, this is weird, I'm having some trouble replicating the crash. I resume a colony with Morose in it, but it seems to load just fine.

sorry to hear that, but I think crashes like that should probably be reported to the dupery fixed guy.

I played yesterday just fine, but also started a new colony. Today when I try to load that colony I'm getting an error from Morose in the Minion.OnSpawn function that it's not instanced.

It is ok, i just wasn't sure i had the correct version with the fixes.

oh, lol oops. I forgot about that value entirely - yeah it should just be up to date if you used the mod updater. sorry for all the small updates, I had fixed something with hailey's skin tone in one place an update or two ago but I needed to do it in another place too. i'm torn as to where I should push another update just for updating the version number or just wait for whenever I update again for real

BTW, the mod shows as ver 1.0 is that really the version? I had forced to update with the updater mod and even uninstall, delete and reinstall and it still shows as ver 1.0.

Update pushed, adding Morose (really pushing the "cyborg" part of this, eh?), as well as fixing some skin tone issues with hailey & antona. I think I'll leave it at 6 for now, but in due time, I will add supply closet icons for the dupes.

I have another duplicant in the works, by far my most ambitious one yet. But the game seems to crash, as he has a custom headshape & a custom mouth. I'll have to wait until dupery fixed creator responds to my bug report before pushing him!

Another update, Antona. This one is a little wackier than usual, but please bare with me, I thought it made too much sense to pass up! They are an homage to Grib from the So Many Dupes mod. check that one out too!!

Pushed an update to add another, Greasy. I wanted to make a bionic with a hairstyle similar to gossman/nails. I have one more thought in mind, but it might take a little longer, it's only barely conceptualized in my head.
